Wet Weather Weddings
July 1st, 2009 | accessories, rain
It’s been a wet and windy couple of days in Melbourne – I’ve had to keep my trusty umbrella at the ready!
Every bride fears rain on her wedding day. Even if you’ve planned an indoor ceremony, you still have to get from the house to the car, and the car to the ceremony without ruining your hair and makeup. And rather than using Dad’s golf umbrella, why not turn your wet weather gear into a style statement?

These two brollies from Pink Frosting are both completely waterproof, and make for a stylish way to stay dry. The Frou Frou parasol (left) is available in blush (above), French vanilla and candy pink, red and black, while the Belle Fleur parasol come in powder puff or steel (both above).

In the US, Bella Umbrella has a range of beautiful vintage and new brollies to buy or rent. The waterproof pagoda umbrella, above, comes in a range of pagoda and handle colours – so you can mix and match to get the colour combinations you want! If you’re not so concerned about the weather, Bella also has a selection of Asian parasols and ruffled umbrellas – perfect for spring and summer.
With options like these available, there’s no need to let the weather rain on your parade!
