Six years after they first met at a space-themed fancy dress party, Pippa and Jamie were enjoying a relaxing holiday in Koh Samui, Thailand, lounging at a beach bar and looking at photos of their travels. When Pippa remarked that they made a "pretty cute couple", Jamie agreed, and suggested they make it official and get married.
