Alamanda Great Barrier Reef Chapel is a purpose built beachfront chapel in Australia. The non-denominational wedding chapel venue in Palm Cove, Queensland, is situated on the grounds of Alamanda Palm Cove by Lancemore, a 5-star resort. The resort encompasses a 180-degree panoramic view along the Coral Sea, Palm Cove Beach, and the surrounding beaches.
Weddings at Alamanda Great Barrier Reef Chapel
The wedding chapel has high vaulted ceilings and a polished timber dais. All-glass concertina doors to the front and sides of the chapel can be retracted. Wedding ceremonies are followed by receptions at the resort’s Nu Nu Restaurant. The restaurant offers absolute beachfront dining, with an emphasis on innovative modern Australian tasting menus with matching wines.
South Pacific Bridal exclusively manages ceremonies at the chapel, which accommodates 150 guests. A team of wedding planners/coordinators help couples organise their ceremony. There is space on the beach for a helicopter to land, and a Cairns horse drawn carriage is available for ceremony entrance and departure. A fireworks display can take place during the reception.
Accommodation and Tourist Attractions
Alamanda Palm Cove by Lancemore features 69 spacious one, two and three-bedroom suites that boast tropical interiors. Floor to ceiling glass doors open onto wide balconies. Hotel amenities include Alamanda Spa and an adults only pool.
