Attended a wedding reception and love the atmosphere. #Event staff were great and extremely welcoming.
Food was great too.

The Metropolis Events team are always fab to work with! We hosted our Christmas party at Q Events and the venue space was stunning. The venue team were super accommodating and easy to coordinate with. Thanks for helping make our event such a success.

So nice to have a new venue in Melbourne CBD with capacity for a large group. The entrance is large and fitted out well, perfect for those events that require a decent size registration area. The internal venue has many options floor plan wise, it was perfect for our stand up event for 400 - 500pax. Large main bar and capabilities to offer other service bar so guests have plenty of options. Food was great, I've never been disappointed with a food offering backed by Georgina Damn, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cons - cloakroom is very small, and loading dock is not user friendly, however there is a loading bay on Queen Street which can be used, it;'s just the distance.

We had the most wonderful time at the 'Q Events by Metropolis' brand new event space last night. The venue was beautiful, hi-tech and housed many spaces in which to hold functions. Certainly the finest function space we've ever seen. A shout out to Charlie the DJ/Sax player and Karina Flow the gifted dancer, to the bar staff and wonderful food servers who always had a smile on their face. Lastly, to the vision of General Manager Phillip Williams and his Team of dedicated event staff who saw the project through to completion. Thank you and well done everyone.

I attended a couple of events at this hall, and I must say it's a fantastic place to host gatherings. The hall is spacious and well-designed, allowing for multiple events to run simultaneously without any disruptions. The catering by Qevents was excellent, with delicious food and drinks served during the events. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this venue for any occasion.

Venue was amazing. Jade, Amy and the team were awesome and so accommodating. We would definitely recommend the venue and staff to support your next event.

We had our wedding at Q Events and couldnt recommend them enough. They are brilliant to work with, helpful and always went out of their way to put a nervous bride at ease. Carleen and Amy ensured we had the most perfect night. They replied to multiple emails and made our dreams come true.

The space is beautiful and the exceeded all of our expectations. All of our guests are still commenting on the quality of the food and the service from the beautiful staff on the night. Trendy event space, good food, friendly service

Easy to find, and stunning from the moment walking in. Staff were beyond helpful & lovely - and to top it off the bathrooms are stunning. This is something that gets lost in venues, but its a delight to enter a beautiful, clean and funky bathroom is a mini-delight that I revel in! Thanks for having me xx Rhi

Carleen, Amy, Jo, Dave & the entire team were all absolutely fantastic and easy to deal with.

We had to relocate our wedding to the Q Events function hall on 4 days notice, yet everybody listed above were all extremely accommodating and professional.

We had a few couples ask us on the night whether we enjoyed having our wedding there and if it was a good venue for their own wedding and we highly recommended it to all.

Great venue and food for a corporate gig!

I organised an internal international conference at Q Events earlier this month, and I would highly recommend this space for similar events. Carleen was excellent in helping me and the team to organise the event, and the onsite team on the day were efficient, friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

AMAZING PLACE for an event! I have to say this one one of the BEST experiences. We had a large scale event (200+ people) here last week. Hope, Marijana & the team executed our complicated, difficult and certainly not normal event to the letter. Without fault and definitely with a smile. With Melbourne skyline as the back drop Metropolis is by far a STAND OUT EVENT LOCATION. They can provide whatever you imagine. I look forward to our next event at Metropolis! Thank you :)
