The Small Things Co is a Melbourne-based event styling and decor hire studio working from a showroom and warehouse in Brunswick, with a second base in Queensland. The team offers genuinely flexible levels of support — from their top-tier "complete package" covering everything from concept through supplier sourcing, ceremony coordination and late-night pack-down, through to a decor-hire-only option for couples who just need beautifully styled pieces on the day.
Six packages sit between those two ends: a Design & Styling package for couples wanting an immersive, fully designed day without full planning support; On the Day Styling & Coordination for couples who enjoy planning themselves but want a stress-free final month; a two-hour Styling Consultation & Design Brief session for couples who want expert direction to guide their own DIY planning; and a dedicated Ceremony Styling & Coordination package, popular for garden and off-site ceremonies. Every styling package includes a $750 credit toward the studio's own decor hire collection.
That decor collection is extensive — more than 30 categories spanning arbors, champagne towers, candlesticks, cutlery, glass cylinders, neon signage, vases and more, sourced from around the world and partly custom-made. Couples can browse and hire pieces independently or have the team style them fully as part of a package.
The Small Things Co has built a strong editorial reputation, with feature placements in Vogue, Hello May, The Wed, Wedded Wonderland, Together Journal and several other wedding publications, and styling services extending across regional Victoria, Queensland, and by request interstate (decor hire itself is Victoria/Queensland only).
