Far North Coast Country Wedding Venues


Ballina Island Motor Inn is a resort style complex that features 2 acres of tropical gardens, a covered courtyard, and outdoor saltwater pool and spa. Ceremonies take place in the wedding garden while receptions are held in a marquee or The Island Function Room.

Eltham Hotel, established in 1902, is a classic country pub. An undercover stockade area, picnic garden, and restaurant are available for wedding receptions. Hotel accommodation is available.

Grafton District Services Club offers sporting, entertainment, and dining facilities. Wedding receptions are held in the Les Beattie Function Room or on the rear deck and BBQ area overlooking the bowling greens.

ILNAM Estate Winery, situated in the Carool Valley, offers an ocean and vineyard backdrop, making the estate an ideal daytime wedding venue. Ceremonies and self-catered receptions, as well as ceremonies only, are hosted at the winery.

Murwillumbah Golf Club, which boasts an 18-hole golf course, is close to Mount Warning National Park. The clubhouse features two function rooms with views of the 1st and 18th holes, a sports bar, and the Hot Wok & Grill restaurant.

Situated on a hilltop, Ocean Shores Country Club boasts hinterland and ocean views. The golf club has bowling greens, gaming facilities, function rooms, and a restaurant. Wedding ceremonies take place on the golf course.

Tenterfield Golf Club features an 18-hole golf course that boasts undulating fairways and bentgrass greens. Wedding receptions are hosted in a large function room in the clubhouse. Accommodation is available in Fairways Lodge.

Woodlands Lakeside Conference and Function Centre, located in Tweed Heads, boasts an open lakeside chapel. Weddings are celebrated at the Wright on the Water restaurant which overlooks Evans Boat Harbour and the ocean.

The nondenominational Wyrallah Chapel, opened in 1880, is available for wedding ceremonies. Nestled in rural surroundings overlooking the Wilsons River, the chapel has a polished teak floor and is decorated inside with white bunting.
