Perfect day visit experience, excellent value for the quality of service and facilities. Vegan options were delicious, and drinks were admittedly very overpriced but overall cost seemed reasonable so I didnt mind.

Amazing hotel in the middle of the lush greenery! The villa is spacious and the bed is comfortable. We had a private pool, but we preferred swimming in the public pool, which was stunning!

We didnt get to stay here but my partner booked a romantic dinner here to propose. The hotel looks absolutely beautiful, we will definitely stay here next time we come to Bali. Beyond this, the service we received was outstanding and our host made our evening even more special than it already was. He took beautiful photos of us, completely complimentary, and videoed the engagement too! The set up was beautiful and the set menu was some of the best food I have ever eaten. I really must thank you for the amazing service, we cant wait to be back.

This place is an absolute dream. You can customise your stay as much as you want too from private temple dinners to spa packages. The food at the hotel is also amazing! The pool is also beautiful and wasnt as busy as we thought it would be. We also got free tea and snacks at the spa from 3pm where monkeys comes and play.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hanging Gardens of Bali and couldn't be more delighted. From the moment we arrived to the amazing panoramic views from our villa, I had the most magical and unforgettable experience. Staff were very welcoming and courteous, always ready to go out of their way to make guests happy. The surprises we got while we were out and the way they decorated the room with flowers on the bathtub were very lovely. Every amenity was top-notch, from the spa to the restaurant. Whatever you could have ever dreamed of having in a five-star hotel was provided at Hanging Gardens of Bali - luxurious comfort with luxury living! It is highly recommended to stay at one of the Panoramic Pool Villas.

It is relatively high mountain here. It will be cold at night, so it is recommended to bring a thin coat.

This a beautiful place with incredible staff nestled away from Ubud and all the frenetic energy in that area. We stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon trip around Indonesia, and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. The spa is incredible (thoroughly recommend the traditionally Balinese massages), the pools are rightly award winning and the food is delicious. Book now and stay here!!

View is great, Location is 25kms far from Ubud, You can ask for Millionaire Day Out pass and spend time here easily and it's a reasonable price to spend a whole day here.

They have a nice swimming pool, Food is not bad, You can also find vegetarian options like Pizza, French Fries, etc.

We stayed 3 nights at the Hanging Gardens of Bali Resort following a 5 night stay previously in Canggu. It was a lovely finish to our Bali holiday. The resort is beautiful. The trip from Canggu took 2 hours so it was lovely to arrive at this stunning oasis in the jungle. The staff were very friendly and always accommodating. The villa was beautiful, very clean, and spacious with a stunning infinity pool and generous outdoor area that felt secluded and private. Our private pool was quite cold which was fine but as the weather wasn't as hot as previously experienced in Bali it took ones breathe away when getting in. Just a couple of issues. The timber flooring in our villa was lovely but unfortunately was so slippery we both felt we would slip over at any time, particularly in the bathroom. The bath mat in front of the double vanity was a hazard. We just pushed it to the side as it was too precarious on the floor. The bath mat in front of the bath/shower had a rubber non slip mat underneath which made it safer. On our first night the staff knocked on the door at 6pm to do a turndown service which we rejected as it was at such an odd time. We were in the process of getting dressed for dinner. They did the turndown the following night while we were at dinner which was appropriate. The third night they didn't show up at all for the turn down. I mean I don't really care whether there is a turn-down or not, I just thought it was a bit haphazard and unpredictable. The food was sensational. The included breakfast was great. The outlook from the main eating areas over the cascading infinity pools was extraordinary to say the least. The staff were always lovely and helpful. Would highly recommend this resort. Truly spectacular.

They took such good care of us, remembered our name and customized our stay, made our honeymoon SO special, to point I was in tears when we left! We were supposed to come here in 2020 for our honeymoon and spent 3 years rescheduling due to COVID. It didnt matter in eyes of hanging gardens- they treated us as if we had just married. Special surprises at every turn. Absolutely stunning hotel grounds, impeccable service and delicious food!!! No does not exist at this hotel. We were in tears when we checked out from how special they made us feel.

We had a beautiful afternoon in this corner of paradise. The swimming pool is right in the middle of the jungle, immersed in nature. We had a lovely lunch facing this amazing view. Food was very nice and staff super welcoming. Everything was just breathtaking. Special thanks also to Ayrusa (I hope I spelt it right) at the pool for being so attentive and kind.

WOW! An amazing resort in the middle of the jungle. Dream views, friendly staff and quietness everywhere. The villas are superb; each one with its own private infinity pool, comfortable beds and great amenities. The main restaurant offers great views of the temple. The main pool is amazing to relax and connect. I will definitely come back and recommend anyone to come and stay here!

Breakfast and room service are both delicious and the service is by far the best. When receiving a massage, the sound of water, birds, and insects combine to create a feeling of spontaneous healing. The massage is also top. I had a Balinese massage in the city and there was definitely a difference. The pool is set at 26 degrees and operates 24 hours a day, and the comfortable and cozy traditional rooms are perfect for a staycation. In the morning, when you sit on the pool bar sofa and drink a cup of coffee while looking at the green jungle forest, the sounds of nature reach your ears better than any music.
The cable car route is fun and the view is amazing.

Absolutely stunning place set in the heart of the jungle just 20 minutes from Ubud. Sri one of the staff managers was incredible from start to finish offering advice on trips and organising everything for us on our honeymoon visit. Its the small details that the staff do that makes this place such a joy to stay at. Yes the price is high but its definitely worth it.

We were delighted with the hotel, visited in October 2023. You feel like you're in the jungle; the greenery charges energy here. We had a splendid villa with a private pool, a huge terrace, and a fantastically comfortable bed. The room was clean, spacious, and very private with charming jungle sounds.

The convenient trolley lift the hotel's highlight is even more exciting than riding through the jungle on video! The spa by the river was wonderful. The best red snapper we had in Bali. The infinity pool with refreshing water and a beautiful waterfall cascade a chill-out spot with a delicious menu. The service was impeccable. Breakfasts were very diverse, especially with many healthy options.

This hotel is a must-visit!!! We'll definitely return.

This was almost certainly my favorite hotel I have ever visited. The rooms were lovely and the private pool was amazing. The staff set this experience apart, making us feel at home and like family the entire time. The only down side is location, not because it is not spectacular but it is time consuming if you want to do anything on any other party of the island. Again though, the experience was incredible all around and we will be looking for an excuse to return.

Hanging Gardens of Bali is heaven on earth. We stayed for 4 nights and cannot recommend highly enough. Every touch and detail has been considered and the experience was only topped by the incredible staff. Every interaction, from reception to the spa staff, to the gardeners, drivers, maintenance, trolly operators and restaurant staff - you were all so lovely.
The villas are divine. The location is out of this world and the hotel blends gently and beautifully in to the surrounding jungle. You have to see it to believe it.

We stayed two nights as part of an anniversary trip. Absolutely incredible resort. The jungle is gorgeous. The food and service was incredible. The views are unbeatable. And the activities and spa were amazing. Would highly recommend!

I Had a great time in this hotel. hotel rooms are very clean, spacious and very comfortable to stay in. Plus the service provided was very good and helpful during my stay here. Wow wow wow I dont have words to describe how wonderful this resort is. The check in experience was top notch and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The view from the room is divine and we enjoyed staying in our mini pool while watching at the jungle. Breakfast was exceptional with plenty of fresh and homemade bakeries. It was only for a night but we will certainly stay longer next time

There really isn't anything around the resort, so I recommend buying something to drink or eat in advance!
I loved the sound of birds and the smell of the pool the whole time I was here The massage was also great, and the swimming pool is great for taking great photos rather than swimming Square stone in the middle of the pool on the lower floor? The pillars are holding up, so rather than swimming, I think it would be better to rest on a sunbed or something like that. Instead, I got the perfect shot of my life
The yoga teacher was also very nice. Instead, there were a lot of bugs in the yoga place, so I got bitten by a lot of bugs after yoga. The massage was good too.

The downside(?) of this resort in my opinion is that there is only one restaurant in the resort. Thats why the food bites Over the course of 3 days and 2 nights, I had breakfast twice, dinner once, and room service once... . It was a bit disappointing because the food was almost the same. And there are few auxiliary facilities. A program worth doing is a yoga class..? There is no gym

Instead, it's the best place to truly relax. The staff are also very friendly! The scenery was amazing and it really felt like we had it all to ourselves haha.

This place blew away our already high expectations. From the views, to the room, to the food. Not to mention the hospitality made my whole honey moon so unforgettable. They treated us like kings and queens no request was out of the question for them. By the time we left they made us feel like we were really a part of their family. I hated to say good bye but it was time to see another area in Bali. I would definitely go back!

1- the customer service is more than perfect

2- the rooms are very clean and the view from the room is in different level! The whole resort is in the middle of the jungle

3- their breakfast is very tasty and has many options

The vibe is very positive, suitable for those who want to escape for a moment from the routine / busy atmosphere of the city, the villa is located in the middle of the forest but very safe because the plants and area around the villa look very well cared for, the amenities, food, all staff provide friendly, great service hospitality...
And also three elements restaurant have the best view with their iconic swimming pool..

I wanted to make my honeymoon in Bali extra special, because my wife and I travel often and review lux hotels on Instagram. So when I was researching for where we should stay on our honeymoon in Ubud, I vetted many places. Hanging Gardens continuously came up as the #1 boutique hotel in Bali. For about a week, I watched their content on Instagram to get a feel for the experience and seeing the romantic things I could do for my wife here made my decision to book easy. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth, elegant, romantic, and peaceful. This hotel is located deep in the Ubud jungle where all you can hear are birds, geckos, and crickets. Our villa had a private pool which we had a floating breakfast at one morning! Thats a must-do experience and will be a highlight of how we remember Ubud. The Hanging Gardens pool is where youll spend your days tanning and taking epic shots overlooking the jungle. Yet the #1 thing we did during our 5 day stay at Hanging Gardens is the private, romantic dinner at the pool. I surprised my wife with this experience and her smile lit up like the hundreds of candles all around the pool. This has been the crescendo of our honeymoon. The downsides of this property are also its benefits quite, remote, and surrounded by nature. The drive to downtown Ubud is 40 minutes by the free car ride Hanging Gardens provides. There is nothing in walking distance. For my wife and I on our honeymoon, this was exactly what we wanted for a romantic getaway in the jungle. We could save the high energy pools for Canggu or somewhere else :p So thats why I rate Hanging Gardens 10/10 must stay boutique hotel in Ubud, Bali!

A spectacular hotel located in the middle of the jungle in Bali. Somewhat removed from all the places but it is worth staying there to relax. Their riverside massage is wonderful, worth every penny you pay. Their restaurant and room service is also very good and their staff is the friendliest. Without a doubt a hotel I would return to.

Hanging garden resorts experience was wonderful. Food, hospitality, location - superb. Staff are so kind. Their lift is actually worth the hype.

I don't want to leave at all! We booked a villa in Hanging Garden of Bali for 5 days. It was a dream come true.

The staff, the service and the food were simply great. Every wish was fulfilled so that you could really relax.

The hotel also offers various spa offers. We booked the Head Spa offer from this. 60 minutes scalp and hair care. Absolutely recommended. My hair felt so great afterwards and it lasted for days.

During our stay we also had a really great driver who we highly recommend. In addition to his pleasant, calm manner and very well-groomed appearance, he also gave us restaurant recommendations that were really great and exactly met our expectations. So feel free to ask about Tiwan (I made Setiawan).

On the last day we ordered the floating boat breakfast again, which was absolutely amazing and a great memory.

So really a 10 out of 10

For us it is the best hotel we have ever been.
The view is amazing, the room is a paradise, the staff is adorable and attentive, and dishes a pleasure.
We highly recommend this hotel, you will keep memorable memories.

I was here 10 years ago and just finished off a four day stay which was superb in every way. The hotel and restaurant are fantastic, but what makes this place so special is the warm and friendly staff at every encounter! We left money so the GM, Frank, could throw a party for all of them!!

We Loved our time here. We stayed at 3 hotels in total during our holiday, and the hanging gardens of Bali was by far the best! Our room was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special.

In the middle of the nature, with so nice local employees that were aware of every single detail (our names, our schedule, everything), delicious food, rich experiences (morning walk across the rice fields and having breakfast at the guides house/Gusti, picnic by the river, temple ceremony and cinematic dinner), totally worth it for your honeymoon, family trip or if you simply love nature.

The hotel is outstanding and the room is clean. The location is quiet far from Ubud center but the hotel itself is a new experience.

Fabulous experience, highly recommended ..

Enchanting place immersed in the tropical forest, excellent service, peace and attention from the host. I stayed here at the end of May 2024 for 5 days and it was a wonderful experience.
The infinity pools overlooking the forest are stunning. Truly an extraordinary place. The quality of the food is also excellent.

The hotel is a tropical paradise located in central Bali. The villas are well planned perfectly overlooking the rain forest with temperature controlled infinity private pool to every villa. The sound of river , the cold breeze, the frequent rains and the infinite pools overlooking the forest can take your breath away.
The hotel carry handful of common amenities, such as swimming pool, spa, one restaurant and boutique shop. Food options are limited , and though the breakfast was worthy, but I was expecting a buffet in breakfast which I didnt found.
Over all this is the better place for nature lovers and those who want to escape in tropical paradise. Be careful with kids as the property is located on contour.

Paradise. That is what they have managed to convey with this unique hotel. I read a comment that said that the cost is excessive and that there are similar villas. And we have to say that the experience at this hotel is absolutely unique. Nothing can match the exquisite attention from everyone, the various services, yoga in a bamboo hut with a leaf roof on the river and the villa with the sound of nature. It was our end of our honeymoon trip and it is the best choice without a doubt. We return home with energy and peace. They recommended this hotel to us and we will definitely recommend it. A special mention to two people who made us feel especially good at the pool, restaurant and whenever we met them. Thanks to Abdi and Mustika for making us feel completely cared for with absolute respect and dedication, but also leaving us the space that is necessary, for their explanations and interest and for saying a few words in Spanish :) Thank you for being so nice. And thank you for the beautiful details you left in the villa for our honeymoon.

Our stay at the hanging garden of Bali was one of the most beautiful stay and experience. Hospitality was amazing, location was so serene and roomers were top class.
We already recommended all our friends and couple of friends already made a trip and stayed at the hanging of garden and they also had the exact same experience.
The trolly going to different levels (floors) makes you feel that you are going deep into the earth while going down and makes you feel as if from deep inside of the earth to heaven especially when it drizzles. The whole property is very well maintain and completely in lush green real natural location.
Private infinity pool with total private patio and complete privacy makes the hotel gave us top class experience..

It was very scenic and beautiful. The villas were very clean and maintained well. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in booking all activities and services for us . The spa was beautiful and they were available for any service at our time. The therapist were good . I wish the was a fitness center and a steam / sauna room.
