Al-Ru Farm is an internationally known garden that features the Garden Pavilion bed and breakfast as well as extensive rose gardens, woodlands, ponds, and a lake. Couples can choose to have a reception with a sit-down dinner in a rustic barn or an upscale marquee by the lake or to have cocktails on the lawn. Accommodation is offered in the luxurious bed and breakfast that features high ceilings, antique furniture, and linen and towels that were handpicked from across the world.
Built in the early 1900s, Camelot Castle is a refined hotel housed in a medieval-style, stone-built castle set on three acres of lawns and woodland. Old slate and stone pathways wind through a garden that features vine-covered archways and graceful willow trees. A wedding chapel with an authentic copper roof and bell tower, shaded terrace, fountain, waterfall, ponds and stone step bridge are all part of the property.
Located at the heel of the Adelaide Hills, Highbury Hotel is a short drive from Adelaide and the Barossa Valley. The hotel offers a completely private function room with an entrance foyer, a balcony, a lounge area to welcome guests, and a bar with beers on tap. Two and three course menu options are provided, and while the venue will create a personalised wedding cake, cakes from outside vendors are permitted.
K1 by Geoff Hardy, a working winery, limits the number of weddings each year, making each one unique and special. Indoor wedding ceremonies and receptions take place in the Chalet looking out over the lake and tree-lined driveway. Outdoor wedding ceremonies take place lakeside, looking out over the chalet and vineyard. The chalet includes a large main room with floor-to-ceiling windows, two small balconies, and a large outdoor area. Catering is not provided for receptions but Dine Catering is recommended.
Mandalay House and Garden provides several locations for weddings amongst acres of manicured gardens that are framed by rolling countryside. The gardens feature a fountain, sculptures, and topiary trees and shrubs. The venue specialises in formal sit-down dinners in a marquee, cocktails in the garden, and country-style barn weddings.
