Snowy Mountains Rustic Wedding Venues
Candlelight Lodge in Thredbo has a European atmosphere and views of the mountain ski slopes. The lodge, which is available for weddings, includes a sauna, in-house masseuse, restaurant and lounge, and rooms with balconies.
Eiger Chalet is a family-owned boutique style German/Austrian influenced ski chalet. Wedding vows are exchanged at the chalet while receptions are held at the venue’s White Spider Restaurant & Bar. The chalet is available both in winter and outside of the winter season.
Jindabyne Equestrian Resort is a 200-acre property that offers an equestrian centre, a restaurant, and motel and apartment accommodation. Wedding ceremonies are held outdoors or in the American barn-style stables. Receptions take place in the Hayloft Restaurant and Bar.
Oak & Barrel is a provincial home, built in 2015, that offers a function room that is ideal for small boutique wedding gatherings. The Jindabyne venue, which offers luxury accommodation, is highlighted by a giant outdoor chess board and a fire pit in the manicured gardens.
River Inn Thredbo is a ski in, ski out resort that features a heated indoor spa, hotel accommodation, and the Bavarian Bar and Restaurant. Indoor or outdoor wedding ceremonies are followed by receptions at the inn.
Snowy Mountains Resort & Function Centre is located in Adaminaby. Weddings take place in the function room which overlooks 6 acres of parkland. The resort includes a games room, lounge and bar, tennis court, and accommodation.
Snowy Wilderness resort is set on 7,500 acres of wilderness high country and adjoins Kosciusko National Park. The venue offers accommodation, horse riding, and camping. Indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies are followed by receptions in the Reception Centre.
