Their approach starts well before the wedding day: rather than working from a template, the team invests time getting to know each couple's relationship, families and priorities, so the final film feels personal rather than a straightforward record of events.
On the day, filmmakers work quietly alongside photographers and planners, capturing the moments that matter without disrupting the experience for the couple or their guests. Professional audio — multiple wireless microphones and dedicated recorders — captures vows, speeches and the natural ambience of the venue, which is layered through editing alongside licensed music into a cinematic, story-driven edit. Hey Jack deliberately limits the number of weddings they take on each season, giving their editing team the time to build each film individually; delivery typically takes 3–4 months.
