Say cheese

The team at Real Weddings all agree that creamy Neufchatel cheese from Normandy, is the perfect tasty addition to the cheese platter at your Wedding or Engagement party. And its in a sweet love heart shape. So cheesy!

You can order it online at Paxton and Whitfield or hope to stumble across at your local market.

The Sweetest Thing

A sweet idea for all of the peonie lovers out there, be inspired by this peonie theme dessert table created by One Sweet Girl.

Perhaps you could use your favourite flower to create the dessert table at your wedding.

Scot style

These miniature works of art come from ‘Cupcake’ in Scotland, perfect for a garden party kitchen tea, and are our choice this week for cupcake Thursday.

Autumn treat

Autumn is well and truly here, and what better way to embrace it than with a cup of tea and a cupcake (especially on cupcake Thursday!) These gorgeous autumn inspired creations are from Das Cupcake’s in Germany, and we love that they are both simple and stylish.

Happy cupcake Thursday!

A sweet surprise for guests

Mmm, don’t you just love a pretty candy buffet at a wedding? The perfect treat for your guests and an easy way to ensure energy levels stay nice and high throughout the night! We loved the black and white candy buffet that Real Couple Max and Renee Howe created for their black and white wedding…

There are many ways you can style a candy buffet to suit your celebration, and if your looking for inspiration, advice, or someone to help you create your own, we suggest paying a visit to the Candy Buffet Company… just look at this stunning buffet they created recently!

Delicious… and delightful to look at!

Beautiful Bomboniere Buffet

We love it when sweet treats arrive at the office, and we certainly have been spoiled lately!
One of our recent treats was a sample from the new Sisko Chocolate Bomboniere Buffet Collection – a beautifully-boxed chocolate orb containing a sugared almond and small paper scroll with a personalised message.

We love the idea of having a beautifully-arranged “buffet” of favours that your guests can choose from – and with a range of items including delicate handcrafted flowers, hearts, and beautiful birds, there’s something to suit every theme. Sisko founder Christina Tantsis can even create stunning personalised shapes just for you – imagine a stunning chocolate Eiffel Tower for a Parisian themed celebration!

For more information about these gorgeous handcrafted delights, head to the Sisko website.

We Heart Seduberries!

Boy have we found the cutest thing EVER!

Are you ready? Sitting down and comfortable? Because you’re not going to believe this….

Heart-shaped strawberries! We kid you not! Look!

Dubbed “Seduberries”, these cuties are grown within little heart-shaped mould (which is put on each individual strawberry by hand) that gives them their special shape… so yes, they are 100% natural; no chemical or genetic modification here!

But here’s the sweetest part: Seduberries were conceived and created by twenty-two year-old Josh Engwerda while he was trying to think of the ‘ultimate gift’ for his girlfriend! He developed the moulds, patented them, and licensed a strawberry farm in Tasmania to produce the first harvest just in time for Valentine’s Day earlier this year. What a lucky girlfriend!

We think these are just the sweetest treats ever – perfect for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays… even proposals! Pay attention boys, and follow Josh’s lead!
