The Cove Jervis Bay Weddings

This was the most amazing wedding venue!! The staff are so helpful and friendly - I cannot thank them enough for helping me make the day so special.
Not to mention the rooms were actually very nice and the glamping tents were very comfortable.
Loved the wildlife and all the activities you can do on site!

Dropped in here to check out the site of a wedding we were to attend. No we didn't stay so can't comment on accommodation. It's in a lovely spot situated right on the Sussex inlet only a few hundred metres from the sea.
There are several cabins and glamping tents available for hire here and the surroundings have been very nicely landscaped.
The staff were super friendly and helpful.
There are several communal meeting/eating areas like a fire pit and a lawn with deck chairs as well as a covered meeting and cooking area.
There is also a nice hall with glass doors around 75% of is walls.
The children's play area looks marvellous.
Visitors should park outside near the private property sign.
Be aware that there is a 13km dirt road to reach the Cove and road conditions can vary depending on weather and the length of time since the road was last graded. Safe speeds on the road are down around the 30km/h rate to avoid any possible potholes and vehicles coming from the opposite direction.
That said it really is a lovely spot and I would have loved to swim there in the inlet.

We recently had our wedding at The Cove and we cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful and amazing venue! Having all our closest friends and family come together in one place, over three days was such a magical thing. All of our guests had the most amazing time, and it was like a mini holiday for all of us.

The accomodation was fantastic, and every single staff member at The Cove were so lovely and easy to work with in the lead up to our day, during our wedding right up until we checked out for our stay.

We had the most beautiful day, and if youre wanting a mini destination wedding in paradise, I would not go past this stunning venue!

Me and my husband got married at the cove earlier this year and we would like to thank you for the most excellent service! Communication leading up to the day was excellent, and every little detail was thought of for our few days stay with our guests. I would highly recommend them as a wedding venue, and as accommodation for a holiday/mini-break. A beautiful setting with beautifully decorated cabins. We were lucky enough to get married at the Cove in August 2022. It was hands down the most magical and perfect weekend of our lives. Yo, Georgia and all the Cove staff were nothing short of amazing and we can't thank them enough for making it such a memorable experience start to finish. They were so supportive, attentive and helpful in the planning and lead up to our day and went above and beyond to help bring everything together. All our guests stayed on site and at the holiday park next door and had a phenomenal time, they are still raving about it today. It was so special to have our nearest and dearest all together in the one spot for the whole weekend. We can't wait to head back for our anniversary each year, it is such a beautiful part of the world and would highly recommend.

In November we got married at The Cove
We are from Victoria so there was a lot of back and forward over email, answering any questions we needed answered.
The communication experience was exceptional, special thank you to Laura.

Once we got there you barely noticed the staff unless you needed something, and literally
actually anything you needed they were there.

We stayed 3 nights.
First night we had a welcome dinner, It was better than you could imagine the team at the Cove set it up with all you having to do was enjoy the food.
There was plenty of food, having left overs which we brought back out for snacks at our recovery(Day 3).

On the morning of the wedding the staff helped in setting up the ceremony location. Whilst making sure the place stayed clean by keeping bins empty and rubbish away.
All the small things you dont want to worry about on your wedding day.

After a perfect night celebrating, we woke up prepared to have to clean the wedding hall.
To find the cove staff had it cleaned and set perfectly again, with all our welcome gifts put aside in boxes and any left over belongings waiting at the front desk.

For our recovery, we spread out around the BBQ pavilion area where they again put on a perfect breakfast where we didnt have to worry about a thing, from setting up and packing down.

They worked in the background to assure the bins were placed around our guests and were kept empty, topping up ice and anything you asked along the way.

All in all they made our wedding as stress free as it could be, doing more than we even thought necessary from their end.

I wouldnt be surprised if more of our guests plan their future weddings there!

class loved seeing wallabies suck off eachother

staff are super lovely and took so much care and effort into looking after us and checking in whilst we stayed there. The rooms were very nice but will definitely be checking out the glamping tents on our next stay as they looked super cool. Loved being right on the beach and great spot for the kids to swim and run around at the inlet going into a slow moving creek ( also a great fishing spot for us), and interacting with the many kangaroos that came to see us right at our doorstep on the site. Great spot for the family as it feels like you're on your own little island whilst still being so close to town and everything Jervis Bay has to enjoy.

Our daughter got married here Feb 2023 and it was spectacular. Everything about the venue was amazing. The fact that everybody was able to stay there allowed them all to really enjoy themselves and not have to think about getting home. The food was out of this world , the setup for breakfast , the availability of activities the next day, and of course the weather made it a dream wedding. Go on get down there and see for yourself.

We hosted our wedding at The Cove in September, and it is an absolutely incredible location. Both us and our guests had a wonderful 2 nights/3 days. There are so many different options to have your wedding here, lots of areas and opportunities to make it your own. The fairy lights everywhere are gorgeous. The accommodation onsite is great as it's included, so it's convenient having everyone stay together. As a DIY venue, it requires a bit more work but that allowed us to do exactly what we wanted. The staff were helpful however if you want a wedding coordinator on the night, you need to hire your own. The Cove have a great relationship with lots of local suppliers which is very helpful. The recovery breakfast The Cove included was spot on, so much food and delicious.

There are a few minor areas that could further improve the experience for all which is the drive in (the road is very bumpy/unsealed), and they don't allow sparklers (not even on the beach or bricks, which is unusual for wedding venues).

We were there for a wedding. It was a very beautiful set up. Great place to get away from the city and spend a few days with nature and friendsand family. There were Kangaroos and native birds which my toddler was very excited about. The beach was beautiful and we had options for paddle boarding and kayaking or just walking by the beach collecting shells.

We had our wedding at the Cove in February 2023. It was basically the only venue we looked at and we pretty much booked it immediately. We were looking for a venue that:
- We could spend the weekend
- Was near the coast
- We could design our way, including food and drinks

The cove is completely DIY, which while made for a bit more work , allowed us to create the wedding of our dreams.

Before the wedding the staff and particularly Yo and Laura helped us with all of the questions we had and were very accomodating with our wishes.

From the day we got there you could see how hard all the staff work to get the place looking absolutely immaculate and The Cove really do the location justice. Nestled in the national park right on the coast, the beautiful details of the The Cove really play off the beautiful surrounds. They have a little family of kangaroos that basically live there, and other wildlife that makes the venue feel so natural.

The staff were very friendly during our wedding weekend and seemed genuinely excited for us and wanted to help us have the perfect weekend. The location doesn't get much better. The ceremony was beautiful with the backdrop of the crystal blue inlet and once the sun goes down the whole venue is glittered in Fairy lights.

All of our guests raved about the whole venue and weekend and one of our friends even booked it for their own wedding on the Sunday.

Lovely place. Definitely come back again. Kangaroos eat round here and you can pat them. The beach is great. A fret please for fishing, swimming, kayaks , snorkeling.

A wonderful spot for glamping just far enough away for peace and quiet. Right next to the beautiful Bherwherre Beach with lovely bathrooms, kitchen area and fire pit. Don't be surprised when you see kangaroos and wallabies roaming around the area.

Absolutely loved this place. We came as a family of 24 & stayed at the Fun House. Definitely a beautiful place to come & get away from all the troubles of the world. Could barely get reception here which was perfect cause we got to enjoy being together as a family & making memories. Location is perfect & there's a beach literally 40sces away. Will definitely be back here again when the weather is much warmer.

We had our wedding at The Cove in Feb 2023. We first saw the venue about 18 months prior to our wedding, it was the ONLY venue we had inspected and it was more than perfect for us.

Our 3 days at The Cove were the most perfect 3 days of our lives to date. The staff at the cove were AMAZING, particularly Chelsea, our guests absolutely raved about the venue and the weather was perfect, thank you Mother Nature!

Almost every one of our 115 guests have mentioned how they thought it was the best wedding they had been too ( some were married themselves!)

The cove creates the more amazing atmosphere and is the perfect destination for a 3 day festival of love with your soulmate.
The team are there for out on the 3 days to assist wherever they can. Also the styling shed is amazing!

We booked The Cove for our wedding and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. All the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help us on the day - even helped organise a whole change of area due to the rain. The venue was so good even a little rain couldn't dampen our day! From a meeting on the Friday to make sure we had everything in place, to cooking up a monster recovery breakfast on the Sunday to soak up the hangovers every interaction was just a delight. Friendly staff, amazing scenery and some local wildlife - do yourselves a favour and book the Cove if you have an event coming up. can not say enough great things or recommend them more.

WOW!! WHERE DO WE START?!

We booked The Cove for our wedding on 12 August 2023, this is a venue to stay on 2/3 nights. We couldnt have chosen a better venue, all of the staff were amazing, the admin team on the other side was amazing with the help and information leading up to the wedding, especially their communication. The accommodation was amazing and it was beautiful to have all of our family and friends in the one place. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more. On the morning of our wedding the staff helped set up the ceremony location while also making sure that the place was clean by keeping all bins empty and any rubbish away to be seen.

As this is a DIY venue, it does require a little bit more work, this allows you to have your own caters and do exactly what you wanted. The Cove do give you a list of suppliers which they work with quite closely. They also include in your wedding package a recovery breakfast that will happen the day after your wedding, the food was also delicious.

A secret slice of paradise and our second visit to The Cove! We came last spring with a group of friends and loved it, just as much as we did coming as a family for downtime this spring. Secluded, safe and escaping the busy life for some quality family down time. We love The Cove!

Spent a few days here for a friend's wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous. I can't stop bragging to everyone how stunning the venue is. It was also a really relaxing stay. I stayed in the glamping tent and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. The water was a beautiful, crystal clear blue and the sourounding wildlife was lovely. Definetly recommend.

I was here for a wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. The cabins are built for families where you bring your own food, have a stove and just a little walk and you are on a beach that looks untouched.
The kids would love it. Going to go back for a family holiday.
The WiFi isn't great reception which for a busy mum, it allowed me to be out of contact with tech and one with nature.

Beautiful location, nice cabins and very gorgeous reception venue. The estuary is gorgeous and refreshing to swim in.

Lovely accommodation for an event or a getaway. The location is amazing and the rooms are fabulous.

Gorgeous place, the water at night displays the most amazing bioluminesce and the wildlife is plentiful and peaceful enough to pat the odd kangaroo :)

The Cove is a spectacular place to stay. We stayed there with our family of four, it was perfect for young children as they could run about safely and swim in the stunning bay. They even had adventures on the sand dunes. The Kangeroo's were such a highlight. Perfect for those visiting from overseas. Such an untouched magical place. The accommodation was perfect, clean, and so comfortable. You can tell the owners have put in so much love through the furnishings and finer details. And the staff! Wow, outstanding. Love this place, wish we could keep it our little secret. Will be back!

Wonderful stay for a family wedding.

Rooms comfortable and clean and staff friendly and the wedding was well organised, delicious food and wonderful memories made celebrating!

The wildlife and water spectacular and it really felt like a resort on a private island!

Only a little wish was for an out door shower to rinse off after a swim before heading back to cabin to avoid bring sand in.

We had an epic two-night stay at The Cove in the fun house. Shoutout to Cathy, Ash and Lauren for making the trip a breeze and improving our stay tenfold with their incredible service and delightful smiles!

The Cove is incredible, my husband and I were so lucky to have the most amazing wedding there!! The staff made the whole wedding process so easy and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. All of our guests were able to stay onsite and raved about how good the location, accomodation, staff and facilities were. Would highly recommend The Cove as a wedding venue, we couldn't have had a better experience!!

I was so lucky enough to have my wedding at The Cove. It was everything I could have dreamed of, we hired out the entire venue and accommodation which how guests loved. The Cove has been a place where so many memories have been created and will always hold a special place in our heart.
The staff were next level and made each guests feel so comfortable and happy- nothing was too much it was like they were apart of the family.

I had the honour of attending a wedding at The Cove Jervis Bay at the end of March, 2024 and it was an excellent adventure. We left the security of the City mid afternoon and made it to the National Park boom gate before the 6pm deadline.
Our 3 car convoy travelled the unsealed road through the National Park as the sun began to set and we came over a hill through the trees we could see the sun reflecting off the water in the bay, there was still another 10 minutes travel and we didnt t know what to expect!
A wallaby jumped past and excitement began to gain momentum.
At the gate a sign states snakes are active in this area.
Down the driveway and youre greeted with multi room, self contained cabins, a glamping area and the Funhouse. There were 12 of us and we got the funhouse, kids and all sharing with a couple of the bridal party members.
It was very comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and large enough for us all to hang out while we prepped, cooked laughed.
There were enough bathroom facilities for us all to share and the bunk rooms had their own little ensuite.
It had an outdoor area that everyone could meet at, with a BBQ and plenty of seating undercover.
Swimming, canoes, paddle boards, fishing, we did everything in the short 3 days we were there.
The wedding was spectacular, the bright blue waters of the cove providing a brilliant day with a beautiful backdrop.
As the sun went down dinner was served in the dining room catering to all or the bride and grooms requests.
The first dance and reception was held down a couple of steps in an outdoor function area under a couple of grand trees covered in fairy lights. It made the entire evening seem magical.
There was a lot of food and the staff were around but discreet. It was wonderful.
The best part about the whole adventure was that although we were all there together, we all had space.

We always wanted a beach wedding, but originally we were imagining a wedding much smaller. However once we found The Cove nothing compared. With a quarter or our guestlist coming from overseas and the rest coming from interstate, we wanted the venue to be special ... and it was certainly that!!

Being a DIY/BYO venue we could really make the weekend unique to us. We were able to create a three day event, while keeping it low key and fun like we wanted. We were SO lucky with the weather and with so many areas of the venue to use, nothing felt repetitive. It was utter magic being in such a beautiful location, immersed in nature and celebrating with all of your favourite people.

All of our guests could not stop raving about the experience. It was beyond special!!

The yurts are brilliant although a little tired. For instance ours didn't zip up fully as the fly screen was ripped which did worry me in the night as to what would wander in, but nothing did! The spare bed was not comfy apparently but I didn't care because I was in the comfy double!
The kitchen facilities were great. We made lots of new friends just being around each other. The fire pit was a great place to hang out.
The kangaroos were great and nice to see.
Toilets and shower were clean.
Beach access great and paddleboard and kayak hire free and really nice to go on. The water was warm as flat.
Beaches great around the area.
Had a great time.

We got married at the Cove in April 2024 and couldn't have been happier with everything - its the most beautiful location to have a wedding at! The beach and water in the background, the stunning wedding hall with the dried flower installation on the ceiling, the friendly kangaroos, the ocean cabin was beautiful and we loved the outdoor tub.

We fell in love with the venue immediately and didn't even bother viewing any others because its perfect!

The staff were super friendly and looked after us very well, even posting some items to me after the event that had been left behind and ensuring I had an endless supply of coffee! The hampers left in our room were a gorgeous touch.

Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

We got married at the Cove in September 2023 and it couldnt have been a better wedding, thanks to the location and amazing staff.
Guests were saying they wished we stayed a 3rd day and all loved the accomodation.

The Cove team was beyond helpful: the council closed the road the day of our wedding with only 3 days notice and The Cove contacted all our vendors and guests to organise transport.
Everything was perfect from the Yoga and breakfast, ceremony and reception, to the midnight beach walk under the stars.
If you want a south coast wedding, this is hands down the place for it.

Beautiful location. Rooms were a bit cold, but ok. The kangaroos were amazing and friendly. And the coffee shop folks were awesome. Definitely bring a sturdy car to get there. The potholes were pretty bad, especially after the rain. Great place to disconnect! WiFi doesn't work, but that's ok...there is so much to do!

Glamping tent was cool, but no heating or power available in the tent. Otherwise perfect.

We had our wedding at the Cove in September 2024 and we could not recommend The Cove enough!! Where do I even begin!!

The lead up to the wedding and planning the wedding was an absolute breeze with The Cove. Their communication and assistance throughout the planning was amazing and they were so accomodating through everything. The Cove helped us add our own little touches to the weekend and assisted us to hire an inflatable screen, set up tables/chairs the night before and the day of the wedding and were honestly just amazing throughout.

The Cove were amazing the day of the wedding, organising free coffee for the bridal party, setting up the ceremony chairs then moving them to the reception, cueing us to walk down the aisle and cleaned up the wedding hall at the end of the night, the list continues! I was also super thankful that the lovely staff cleaned up the room where the bridal party got ready in removing food, washing glasses and making the bed to ensure the bride and groom had a nice cabin to return to which we thought was so thoughful!

We had so many compliments from our guests from the weekend, everyone loved the cabins and glamping tents and all the facilities at the cove. We would highly recommend the Cove to anyone and will definitely be staying there again. The whole team were amazing and especially Bella.

The Cove was the best wedding venue and accomodation for our wedding, it is hard to put it all into words.
