Country Wedding Venues on the NSW Central Coast


Avoca Beach Hotel & Resort is set on 15 acres of natural bushland and native gardens. The traditional Kookaburra Room and the modern Kingfisher Room as well as Treetops Restaurant are available for wedding receptions. Room and apartment accommodation is available.

Kantara House is a function centre in Green Point that was built in the 1960s. Set on 4.5 acres of natural rainforest, the venue is home to the Charlotte Chapel as well as outdoor wedding ceremony areas. Receptions are held in the Ashley Philip Room which opens onto a deck.

Knottapharm, located in Cedar Brush Creek, is a rural farmhouse with lawn space for a marquee or tipi wedding reception. Outdoor ceremonies are held on the lawn or under the trees that surround the property. Accommodation is available.

Mingara's Event Centre is a a social centre in semi-rural Tumbi Umbi. A variety of spaces are available for wedding celebrations. The venue is situated close to scenic beaches, national parks, and local churches.

The 18-hole golf course that comprises Shelly Beach Golf Club is situated on undulating hills overlooking Shelly Beach. There is a wedding ceremony area on the golf course, and receptions are held in the main function room or sports bar.

Toukley Golf Club is located on bushland that juts out into Budgewoi Lake. The 18-hole golf course is complemented by a clubhouse that includes a function room. The space, which features floor to ceiling windows, is available for weddings.

Set on 50 acres in Wyong Creek, Yarramalong Valley Farm Stay offers numerous outdoor locations for wedding celebrations. Guests are welcome to feed the ponies, alpacas, and sheep. Accommodation is available in the venue’s Richard Le Plastrier-designed timber house.

Wyong Creek Hall is a heritage listed hall in the Yarramalong Valley that was built in 1914. The hall is available for self-catered wedding receptions. Accommodation is offered across the road from the venue.
