Total privacy
Your wedding is no time to be sharing, that’s why at Sylvan Glen, you have exclusive hire—that means you’re the only wedding and it’s all about you (just as it should be).
A place to get ready
Have your hair and makeup artists set up in the Shepherd’s Hut Salon, filled with natural light, fresh air, mirrors and everything you need for the perfect preparation. You just need to bring the bubbly.
A room for the groom
Sometimes the hair and makeup takes a LONG time. So we made a room to amuse the groom. The Groom’s Room at Sylvan Glen is set up just for the boys (or anyone, at the Groom’s discretion!).
Play a round of golf, then settle in and enjoy the x-box, pool table and arcade games. You’ve got everything you need to get suited-up, too. You’re welcome.

A romantic bridal suite
Just far enough away from the guesthouse is your own little corner of privacy in the Bridal Suite. There you’ll enjoy your romantic huge four poster bed with Italian linen, deluxe ensuite and uninterrupted views of the valley; oh and we won’t say anything when you sneak off to your suite while your guests are still partying at the house.
Room for your nearest and dearest to stay
Why have a wedding in the Southern Highlands without inviting your family and friends to party the whole weekend with you? There are plenty of comfy beds in our heritage guesthouse, with 15 lovingly decorated, private ensuite rooms. The guesthouse also features plenty of rooms to catch-up or cosy-up in front of the fire.
For the rest of your guests, there’s lots of really nice accommodation in Bundanoon. It’s a short 10 minutes away and we’ll happily lead the group songs as we cart everyone back and forth in the Sylvan Glen bus.
An outdoor ceremony
Would you like to walk through the aisle of trees in the orchard to say I Do looking over the valley, or perhaps the lush front garden surrounded by grand specimen trees is more your style?
If you’d like to be married in a church, you have some gorgeous options in nearby Bundanoon.
Weather worries? There’s a lovely marquee right next to the function room. You don’t need to worry.
Very civilised drinks in the garden
Yes it’s all quite posh. After the ceremony, your guests will be ushered over to the garden by the pond, where they’ll enjoy Champagne served from our Tiffany blue retro Champervan, and pluck delicious canapés from silver platters.
They’ll play boules and garden chess and watch the sun go down over the trees in the distance. The best part about all this is it gives you a guilt-free hour or two for awesome photos around the property, knowing your guests are having a brilliant time.
A wedding they’ll talk about
Your guests will talk about your wedding reception for years to come—guaranteed. Invite up to 140 of your closest pals to enjoy the serviced bar, dance floor and chill-out spaces in our function room.
An interesting thing about Sylvan Glen is that you can bring your own alcohol. Yep! You’ll save loads and it’ll be set up and served by our professional bar staff so no one will ever know. We supply all the non-alcoholic drinks.
You’re welcome to have a band or DJ and a photobooth, and you’re free to choose from hundreds of decorations with our own wedding guru, Donna.
