Videoboutique began when founder Anthony Spiteri, then a multimedia teacher, was talked into filming a friend's wedding. The experience was enough to change his career entirely — over ten years on, Videoboutique is a Footscray-based studio with a team of five-plus videographers and a dedicated production manager, working weddings across Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate.
The Videoboutique style is classic and romantic, with a documentary sensibility: the team stays unobtrusive throughout the day, stepping in with direction only when it's genuinely needed. Their portfolio spans a wide range of cultural wedding traditions, from Chinese tea ceremonies to Jewish hora dances, Greek ring blessings and multi-day Indian celebrations.
Every couple receives a preview edit — typically within around 12 weeks — along with one round of revisions before their final film is locked in, delivered through a password-protected online gallery accessible on mobile, desktop and most smart TVs.
