RealWeddings Guide
Sally Williams brings more than 25 years of professional broadcasting experience to her work as a marriage celebrant, having built a long on-screen career that made her a recognisable face to Australian audiences as the "Brand Power lady." That background gives her an unusual combination of polished, confident delivery and genuine warmth — the ability to "connect with an audience, and strike the perfect balance of emotion and humour," as her own marketing puts it.
She creates custom ceremonies built around each couple's story, offering support with readings, rituals, vow writing, pre-ceremony consultation and day-of coordination, and also works as an MC for receptions. Based around Merricks North on the Mornington Peninsula, she services couples across greater Melbourne, Australia-wide, and internationally.
Every ceremony is personal, passionate, and professionally delivered — Sally takes the time to learn your story and personality before writing a word, blending warmth and humour, and can tailor touches like a colour theme. A professional sound system (Bluetooth PA with two microphones) ensures every guest hears your vows clearly.
Full wedding ceremonies (from grand celebrations to intimate gatherings) and elopement ceremonies for couples wanting something simpler or more private with just two witnesses.
Every booking includes help with the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), vow and reading ideas, a ceremony draft, a pre-wedding walk-through, a printed commemorative Marriage Certificate, and lodgement of all legal paperwork.
It starts with a phone or Zoom chat to get acquainted — your date is held once you decide to proceed, with a booking fee securing it. From there, in-person or online meetings shape the ceremony and complete the NOIM, followed by a final check-in about a week out for any last tweaks and a walk-through.
Sally arrives at least 30 minutes early on the day to set up (20 minutes for elopements, after a shorter legal-paperwork meeting).
It felt like we were with an old friend telling our story.
The ceremony was so personalised — it genuinely felt like us.
