Wedding South Australia

Great weather, food, and wine, along with many exciting wedding venues, makes South Australia a ‘natural’ for destination weddings. Sandy white beaches, with heritage hotels, busy shops, and sidewalk cafes, can be the site of a wedding or an area to enjoy after the celebration is over. Scenic hills and mountains, great areas to explore, are everywhere.

There are numerous islands in South Australia, including Kangaroo Island which offers several wedding venues as well as abundant wildlife. Beautiful garden settings are available in the region along with rustic winery and lodge venues, waterfront and resort venues, and unique and interesting venues in museums and historic homes.

Outdoor enthusiasts don’t want to miss South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula. With sandy beaches, rugged cliff-scapes, and sheltered coves, activities are many, including fishing, surfing, scuba diving and snorkelling, sailing, and swimming. Adventure parks, boat tours, and whale watching are a few more activities that any visitor can enjoy.

Tourist attractions in South Australia include natural wonders. Umpherston Sinkhole, partially covered by a small lake, houses a garden. Coorong National Park protects a wetland area that contains saltwater lagoons, and the remnants of Inneston, once a booming gypsum-mining town, are waiting to be explored at the Innes National Park.

Piccaninnie Ponds Conservation Park is a great place to go snorkeling and cave diving while Breakaways Conservation Park offers arid scenery that ranges from flat-topped mesas to stony gibber desert.
