The Long Hall sets the scene for an elegant cocktail hour, where guests can enjoy drinks and canapés surrounded by the heritage architecture of the historic Pentridge precinct. With its striking character and unique atmosphere, it serves as a natural gathering space before the celebration continues in The Chapel, while offering exceptional photo opportunities throughout the experience. (Seats 100 at long tables or 130 across round tables, and scales to 160 for a cocktail-style celebration.)
The Chapel — The precinct's grandest space: 160 seated with room for a dancefloor, or 180 seated without one, and up to 250 for a standing cocktail reception.
The Mess Hall offers an intimate setting for wedding celebrations, bringing guests together around a shared dining experience within one of the precinct's most character-filled spaces. Rich in history and architectural detail, it provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for rehearsal dinners, post-wedding lunches, smaller receptions or private celebrations. $2,700 for your ceremony, with a 15% surcharge on public holidays and additional hours from $12 per person. A 25% deposit secures your date, with 50% due 6 months prior and the balance 1 month before your wedding.
The Chapel seats up to 200 banquet guests or 240 theatre-style. The Long Hall seats up to 120 banquet or 150 cocktail. Reception spaces overall range from 10 to 200 guests.

Bump-in and vendor access from 11am on the day, with bump-out from 11pm onwards or after the event. Music must conclude and the venue closes by 11pm.

We were pleasantly surprised more than once, it was lovely for our MUA to have convenient free access to parking, the girls came up for coffee order which made for two very happy bridesmaids and to come into the room to bubbles, lovely glasses and hand written notes twice. I understand weddings happen everyday but we still felt important and special!
From day one, the team were accommodating, knowledgeable, and generous with their time. Every question we had was answered with a detailed response, and every answer of “no” would be followed up with an alternative suggestion to try to meet us in the middle. The events team in particular focused on making our wedding experience amazing and did their best to execute exactly what we wanted. We really got the sense that they treat each wedding as their own unique event and not a routine weekend gig.
Our Wedding Manager went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly—she was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive to every detail. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious!
