RealWeddings Guide
Mickey Loves Jacqui is a Melbourne stationery and print studio creating wedding invitations, day-of stationery and signage with an emphasis on thoughtful design and tactile print finishes. Established in 2011, the studio combines graphic design with in-house printing and production, giving couples the opportunity to create stationery that reflects the style and personality of their celebration.
The studio offers a range of specialty printing techniques, including letterpress, hot foil, embossing, digital printing, die cutting, laser cutting and laser etching. These processes can be combined with considered paper stocks, colours, textures and finishing details to create stationery with dimension and visual interest.
Couples can choose from existing stationery options or work with the team on a more customised design. Wedding stationery can extend beyond invitations to include menus, place cards, table numbers, welcome signs, seating charts, signage and other details used throughout the celebration.
Based in Werribee, Melbourne, Mickey Loves Jacqui provides an option for couples looking to coordinate their wedding stationery and printed details through one design and production studio. Its focus on specialty printing and personalised details makes it suited to weddings where the paper elements are considered an important part of the overall aesthetic and guest experience.
Invitation suites (both custom and pre-designed collections), save the dates, fabric signage and ribbon, menu and signage packages, and sample packs — plus wholesale/trade printing for other designers and businesses. Custom design is very much welcomed; they love starting from "so I have this idea…"
In our experience, items such as seating charts and menus are not ready to be designed & printed at the same time as your invitations as you dont yet have all of the information from your venue confirmed or your finalised guests names.
Wedding invitations ideally should be order at least 5 - 6 months before your event date.
Day of stationery pieces should be ordered at least 2 - 3 months before your event.
Design begins as soon as you book (non-refundable at that point), with a minimum 6 weeks allowed for design and print — once your artwork is approved, printing itself takes about 3 weeks.
Multiple rounds of changes or slow replies can push this timeline out, and peak periods may extend it further.
Orders start at a 40-invite minimum, from $380 AUD for digital print, scaling up with quantity (to 180+) and print method — letterpress runs roughly $640–$1,200, with foil or combination finishes from $1,160–$1,720.
