Adelaide CBD/City Wedding Venues


Built in the 1860s, Adelaide Town Hall boasts an interior with a Victorian-era design. The venue features an Auditorium for large weddings and a Banqueting Room and Meeting Hall for more intimate wedding celebrations.

Crowne Plaza Adelaide is a high-rise hotel that overlooks Hindmarsh Square. The fifteenth floor ballroom provides great views of the Adelaide Hills from a spacious balcony. The hotel is a two-minute walk from Rundle Mall.

Hotel Richmond Adelaide is located in the heart of Rundle Mall, a street mall that contains over 1,000 retail stores and services. A first floor function room is designed for large wedding receptions while a balcony room is ideal for smaller receptions.

Mercure Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide has been hosting weddings since the 1920s. The hotel, located within walking distance of the Torrens River, Parliament House, and Botanical Gardens, features large and small banquet rooms.

Skyline Events Centre is located on the 6th floor of Rydges South Park Adelaide. The light and airy venue offers views of the Adelaide central business district skyline which spans across the parklands to the Adelaide Hills.

Sage Hotel Adelaide is located across from Kurrangga Park. Three upscale function rooms that feature large windows, along with an outdoor Fuchsia Deck and Zen garden, accommodate weddings large and small.

As part of Adelaide’s cultural precinct, South Australian Museum is surrounded by spacious lawns, lush gardens and historic buildings. The venue offers six function areas including the Armoury Courtyard and Lawns, Pacific Cultures Gallery, and the Main Foyer.

The State Library of South Australia features three function rooms. Mortlock Chamber has an interior that embraces two soaring levels. Treasures Wall overlooks the Glass Entry Foyer and Circulating Library features walls of books.

The Treasury restaurant is located in Adelaide's historic original treasury building. The Treasury Courtyard, which includes a large fountain, is used for wedding ceremonies and cocktail-style receptions.
