The Woods Farm Weddings

We spent 2 nights here recently for the Anzac Day long weekend. It was just over a 2 hour drive - we stopped off at Bowral on the way in, the road from Bowral to Jervis is very windy (we will probably avoid next time). The drive back along the coast was extremely pleasant with beautiful farmland views/coastal beach views on each side.

We stayed in a cottage. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was appropriately stocked. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time feeding the animals (goats, cows, chickens, birds, camel, alpaca, pigs and horses), exploring and playing in the well maintained garden and kids playground. The boys also enjoyed collecting sticks for our firepit campfire/marshmallow roastup. There was a beautiful pool and lounging chairs.

There are a lot of wholesome activities to do on a well maintained and beautiful property but the place is also conducive to just relaxing and soaking in sun, air and beautiful surrounds.

The place is a few minutes drive to some beautiful beaches which we intend to explore next time. Would definitely recommend a stay for the family.

A magical place to stay! We loved the glamping around the fire pits. Acres of property to explore and feed all the animals on the farm. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful place to reset and ground yourself in nature.

What a hidden gem!! We LOVED our stay at The woods farm. Nothing has been unthought of. Everything is so well maintained, with such a relaxing vibe in such stylish setting. Couldnt fault and couldnt recommend more highly! Hats off to the team and as special thanks for the added Easter holiday activities for the kids! We will most definitely be back!

I cant recommend The Woods Farm highly enough. We stayed for 5 nights over the summer holidays with our 3 young kids and had the best time! The kids loved visiting the animals and feeding them each morning. They especially loved the goats.

We stayed in one of the cottages which was gorgeous. Plenty of outdoor space for the kids (and dog) to run around and play and explore without even getting close to the other cottages. Everything you need to cook all your meals was provided, plus a fire pit for marshmallows.

Simone and the rest of the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We had a couple of days of rain and they made sure there was plenty of indoor activities to keep the kids busy with crafts and games.

The property is only about a 10 minute drive to beautiful beaches and shops, but youve also got the pool right there to enjoy. The kids also loved playing at the playground on the grounds. So much to do!

Well definitely be back again!

Jewel of the south coast, highly recommend this place to any families looking for a nice little weekend away. We took our little 2 year old here and she absolutely loved it! Glamming tents are spacious, comfy and well set-out, farm experience is awesome - you get nice and up close with all the animals. There is a park for the little ones, great BBQ facilities and pool area. Staff are knowledgeable and super friendly. Highly recommend.

This place is so extremely magical and we are so so happy we stumbled upon this truly special spot and chose it for our wedding.

The team at The Woods are above and beyond. And we cannot thank you enough. From the minute we locked it in until the moment we left the team were incredible. You helped make everything perfect and we couldnt have imagined doing it anywhere else.

After 2.5yrs and 3 postponements, your understanding and compassion made it that little bit more easy each time to get ready for the new date.

The The Woods Farm is nothing short of spectacular. You have everything you need in one place. And there really is just something so special about it. I cannot wait to come back to little trips and anniversaries.

I honestly cant put into words how much we truly appreciate all you did to help make our day (s) as amazing as it was. A few weeks down already and all of our guests are still talking about it.

The Woods Farm in Jervis Bay is a magnificent location for a wedding. My family and I came up from Melbourne to celebrate my cousin's wedding. Although my family and I did not stay on the farm itself (we accommodated in a nearby hotel), we still got to experience the true beauty of this farm with the multiple events of the wedding weekend. The chapel and reception hall are absolutely gorgeous, draped with greenery, and surrounded by the Australian bush, and the wooden frames and decor giving a rustic finish. I highly recommend this location for a wedding for anyone wanting a beautiful backdrop in an Australian bush setting.

our favourite stay so far! The farm is just beautiful and we had no faults with it! in a great great location close to the beach, shops and fantastic huskinson pub. We stayed in the flower cabin and I could have never left it, so beautifully decorated and super cozy with everything you need to relax and feel right at home, so much for the kids to do from playing on the park, feeding the animals or running through the gardens.Cannot wait to staying again and see my new friend the camel.

Brilliant venue for any big day!

Ideal holiday resort nice facilities we went there for a wedding good service and accommodation.

Was recommended to check this place out by a friend and so glad we did, we went for a daytime visit. We were able to take in our own picnic lunch and had an abundance of lovely places to enjoy this while the kids enjoyed the playground and gardens. The farm animals were also a treat with the kids being able to get up and close to them and even pick up the chickens. There is a coffee van cafe which has coffees, icecreams, smoothies and light lunches. Entry for a family of four was very reasonable and we will definitely visit again.

We have been to The Woods Farm on numerous occasions over the years, but the last trip in June was particularly memorable. The place has a calming effect as our family and 6 other families escaped the city pressures. Each family had a cabin each (ours was The Farmhouse), we had camp fires at night, kids disco, feeding the farm animals on site was a highlight, evening wood-fire pizzas, trip to nearby stunning Hyams Beach, buffet breakfasts and great coffee!! Perfect for a 2-3 day mid week escape.

PURE MAGIC! We had a family getaway in the school holidays at The Woods Farm and we were just blown away. Are the facilities great? Yes. Is it beautiful and well kept? Yes. But what made it magic was beyond that, it was the meticulous love and care that was carefully thought out to add wonder and amazement to your experience. They had kids activities planned for the holidays including a kids disco, then there was the regular activities like the animal feeding daily. We thought wed use the place more as a base to come back to, but it turns out there was so much there to explore and do that we ended up spending most of our time on the farm. Each night filled with a chats around a warm fire, and each day used to explore and play on the grounds. So many precious memories were created there because they delivered pure magic.

The Woods Farm is a beautiful place to visit. You will feel yourself relaxing as you drive in past the charming old woods farm truck. Whether you choose the tents or the houses, they have really thought about everything you could possibly need during your stay. The shower/toilet block for the tents is not like any amenity you will find at any other "campsite" it feels like a hotel. Making your own pizzas at the pizza oven is a fun way to wile away an afternoon while the kids play in the playground and visit the animals. Really enjoyed our stay here and will most definitely visit again.

This place is the coolest place I have ever been, I have never took the trouble to write a review good or bad before but after staying here I felt I just had to! I went with my wife and three kids and we just had a fantastic time. What they have created is just unbelievable. Peace and quiet is the first thing that hits you when you get there. Lots of animals, like staying on your own farm. The houses are fantastic and the glamping looks really cool (the kids want to do it next time). You have your own space with no houses close to you. A fire pit, timber and fire lighter supplied for your house. Ducks walking around. A small lake just outside the house. Lots of kangaroos in the morning. We get to feed all the animals, chickens, goats, horses and cows. There is a playground and lots of different areas for the kids to play and be entertained. Skimming pool. They have everything covered, everything you could think of was already thought about. The staff were as nice as you could find, they just couldnt do enough for us. Honestly just cant wait to go back. Thank you everyone Down there!

5 stars all round for this fantastic place! We had the best three nights here last week. The facilities were just as stated (super comfortable and easy when traveling with little ones) and the farm animal plus wildlife made the whole stay picturesque and magical. Who doesnt want to wake up to bird song and kangaroos?!? Thank you to the whole team.

We had the whole property booked for our wedding, it was the prefect escape with beautifully decorated rooms & very comfortable beds. So may activities for the kids too

We had our wedding at the woods and to say it was magical doesnt begin to describe it. Our guests didnt want to leave and are still talking about how much they want to go back and relive the weekend. It isnt just a wedding at the woods - its a beautiful and unique, unforgettable experience that everyone will love.

The staff were extremely helpful, professional and very friendly and supportive. I was hired for a wedding and from the moment I arrived until 13hours later when I left they went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything required to complete my duties for the event.
I did thank them all in person but wanted to ensure that I shared my experience.

This is an amazing venue! We had a 3 day wedding (festival) at the Woods Farm that was as much memorable for the awesome staff and their can do attitude as the perfect setting. Nothing was too much trouble and help was always offered before being requested. I cannot recommend highly enough

We hired the shed for our Christmas party, just over 100 people. It was magnificent. The grounds are perfect. The utilities were excellent. Having a cool room and bar made a huge difference. Having a props room for decorating was excellent. Staff were perfect to deal with we recommend anyone

A great camping experience, and lots of kids activities. Farm animal feeding, campfire, swimming pool, and cooking your own pizza are the best part. The kids play area may need an upgrade but still works. 15 mins drive to most popular beaches in Jervis bay

The cabin is so clean and stylish. So many cute farm animals to interact with, wild kangaroos everywhere. The host organises different activities for the guests and they make amazing coffee.

We stayed for 3 nights and its not enough!

We spent three nights at the glamping tent last week, and it's an excellent place to stay.

Our little boy enjoyed it, meeting other kids and making friends. The daily activities were great for keeping him busy, although the kitchen is a bit small with limited fridge storage. The bathroom amenities were good, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

We highly recommend it to friends and family!

My partner Chloe and I got married at the woods farm on Feb 2nd 2024. We cant thank the staff enough for the amazing service throughout the lead up to the wedding and our whole wedding weekend.
The staff were so helpful, making sure all the rooms were ready and allowing us to have family come in early to help set up our venue. We booked the pizza night for the night before the wedding and the staff were unreal, we didnt have to do a thing and the food was fantastic.
The breakfasts on both the morning of the wedding and the day after were great, so much food and food variety, the staff were so helpful and we have had so many beautiful compliments on the venue and staff.
The animal feeding was amazing and so interactive for all the kids.
Everything was so clean and ready for us on arrival and promptly cleaned when our event finished.
We also loved that the staff brought us gifts on the morning of the wedding for my partner and myself, it was such a nice surprise and made us feel so special.
We love this venue so much and cant wait to come back to relax as husband and wife.

I honestly cannot fault anything about this venue - from the cottages and super luxe glamping tents to the beautiful gardens, the animals, the wed shed, the bush chapel, the pool, the cafe, the recovery breakfast... it was all just stunning. The staff who were on site during our wedding were incredible - helpful, friendly, professional & responsive. It is so relaxed - we had a LOT of kids at our wedding and they all had the best time. We had our wedding here in Feb 2024 and it was simply perfect from start to finish. Our 120 guests all stayed on site from Friday-Sunday and we had an absolute blast. The venue itself is stunning, every single staff member was friendly and professional, and everything felt seamless. It was the best weekend of our lives and we couldnt recommend it enough!!

A beautiful oasis only 2 hours from Sydney, so perfect for a weekend away. It was so peaceful and close to all the beaches. And the staff were great.
Only criticism (and it is mild) we stayed in the clamping tents, but ours was getting a bit mouldy and with a hot weekend it smelt musty, but that wouldn't stop me going back. All in all a lovely weekend.

The Woods Farm was the venue for our October 2023 wedding. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property we fell in love with every aspect of The Woods Farm. The venue was our dream venue and everything was perfect. The staff, the location, the accommodation and everything in between was truly incredible. We could not fault one thing about The Woods Farm. The staff went above and beyond for us and our guests for the 3 day wedding weekend that we had planned. The pizza night, set up and their attention to detail is unmatched. We highly recommend The Woods Farm to anyone wanting to get married.

We went to the woods and choose the glamping option with our 4 year old son to celebrate my husbands birthday weekend. It is a perfect haven and is wonderful for kids and adults alike. The staff particularly I think its Jason (from QLD) originally was great with facilitating feeding the animals and made it so fun and welcoming for the kids. Its close enough to hyams beach and all other attractions in the area but you wont want to leave. Its been wonderful. Thank you

We attended a 2 day wedding event in March, 2024. Excellent spot to do this, especially when the whole place was booked out for the wedding. Accommodation was unique with a different theme & name for each of the cottages. Animals for the kids to feed & pat. Great eating outdoor area's for meet & greet & morning after wedding. I would definitely recommend this place for any gathering.

Abby & I got married at The Woods Farm on 04/04/24 and we couldnt have asked for a better wedding venue! Everyone has been telling us it is the best wedding and venue they have ever been to, and we couldnt agree more.

From our first visit we knew we HAD to get married here and the team made the experience so easy! We are so grateful for everyone who helped keep us calm when the weather turned, everyone was so supportive, and did everything they could to make our day so special and seamless.
The stunning ceremony Chapel and the reception area The Wed Shed are so beautiful you hardly need anything, but it complimented our style so well. Our guests were so impressed with how well maintained the grounds are and they loved the animals! Everyone loved their accommodation too! We were so happy our friends and family could stay onsite with us for the 3 days.

We had such a wonderful stay. The cottages are charming and set up with everything you could need.

The animal feeding in the morning was a real highlight. Our toddler is still talking about all the gorgeous animals!

The playground and cooking/dining areas are fantastic as well. It wasn't swimming weather for our visit, but we can't wait to come back and use the pool next time as well.

The staff were attentive and really helpful during the whole stay.

It was a great getaway. We were there for a wedding and everything was amazing. We got to feed animals and get fresh eggs. Kangaroos just roam the grounds. Fyi... no wifi.

This venue is gorgeous, we stayed in the glamping tents (which had electric blankets thankfully) for a wedding. I managed to make the 8am yoga which was a lovely way to start the day and a unique addition to the wedding activities. The service, food, cocktails and drinks were devine, everything was exceptional!
There are many gorgeous friendly animals on the farm which is also a wholesome experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Woods Farm for my husband and I's wedding getaway, and despite the unfortunate weather conditions, it was still an amazing experience. We hosted a 3-day wedding event, and the fact that guests could stay onsite added to the convenience and enjoyment of the overall experience.

The staff at The Woods Farm were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, particularly during the rainy and stormy period. They went above and beyond to ensure that our event ran smoothly despite the challenging weather conditions. Their assistance and support were invaluable, especially considering that we had done a lot of the wedding planning ourselves.

One of the standout features of our stay was the personal touches provided by the staff. Each cabin was equipped with gift hampers for our guests, which added a special touch and made them feel truly welcome. Additionally, while I was getting ready with the hair and makeup team, the staff surprised me with complimentary drinks, which added an extra level of luxury and pampering to the experience.

The staff were always available and helpful, whether it was addressing guest queries or guiding us through the ins and outs of the wedding planning process. Their knowledge and expertise were instrumental in making our event a success.

On the morning of our checkout, we were delighted to find an amazing breakfast spread provided by The Woods Farm. It was the perfect way to recover and fuel ourselves for the day ahead.

Although the weather prevented us from fully enjoying the facilities and spending more time outdoors with the beautiful animals on the farm, we could still appreciate the amazing facilities that The Woods Farm has to offer. The farm is truly a haven, and I can only imagine how wonderful it would have been under better weather conditions.

Overall, our experience at The Woods Farm was exceptional. The staff's helpfulness, personal touches, and dedication to ensuring our event went smoothly were truly commendable. I highly recommend The Woods Farm as a wedding venue, and I hope to have the opportunity to return in the future to fully explore and enjoy everything it has to offer.

Awesome place for a family weekend getaway, our kids and dog loved it. This was the second time we have stayed and we will be back again!

We attended a family wedding here. What an amazing place. The bush chapel was stunning, the kids loved feeding the animals, the park was amazing. There was a pool... we didn't use it due to the time of year but it looked very inviting.

There are however peacocks roaming around... they are stunning creatures but they scream like a woman being attacked in the middle of the night

The accommodation was very comfortable, the beds lovely, the shower was clean and mould free (its not often you stay in accommodation... even expensive accommodation where there is no mould in the shower).

There was a mob of kangaroos that would lope past our cottage several times a day.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have our wedding day at the stunning Woods Farm in August of 2024.

First of all, the team: Maddy, Shanae and Caitlin were all an absolute pleasure to work with right from the get go but even more so on our 3 day wedding celebration! The girls were so attentive, supportive and kind throughout the whole process,
you couldn't ask for a better team!

The grounds: They are so well looked after! Clean, well managed and STUNNING! All of our guests were so impressed from the moment they arrived at what an incredible property it truly is.

The concept: The 3 day vibe is unbeatable... truly. Our day did not go fast at all like everyone says it does because we were not running around trying to see people, we had already seen them at the welcome night (which truly rivalled the wedding... HUGE party hahaha)

The amenities: The coffee cart, pool, pizza overs, BBQ for brekkie cook up etc. All such great features

The service: The pizza welcome night and the recovery brekkie were both put on by the woods farm and were both nothing short of perfection!

Overall, I cannot recommend this venue enough. Someone please invite me to a wedding here... I want to attend as a guest

This is our most favourite place to getaway for a peaceful, relaxing break and the kids absolutely love it! The cottages are beautifully set out and clean , bikes for the kids to ride free-range, fresh eggs daily available for you to collect and cook, animal interaction, a children's play area.... the fun is endless at the woods farm and we love coming back time after time.

Friends mentioned that their son was getting married at Woods Farm, so I was curious to see exactly where it was. Now it is stored away in my memory bank for future reference!

We had a large family group stay in 3 glamping tents over the 4 days, and the stay was absolutely wonderful! Starting with the super white crisp bedsheets on every bed, beautiful inside decor and the large size of tents, to the dreamy nature surrounds and the farm animals short walk away from the glamping tents. The kitchenette was well stocked with complimentary biscuits, coffee, and checked often by staff to ensure all was in order. It was a pure joy for both adults and kids, with the farm grounds offering endless adventure and exploring opportunities for the little ones, the pool and proximity to the white sand beaches like Hyams beach (7 minute drive), delicious wood fire pizza night that was the cheesiest and delicious pizza ever, clean and very new amenities and showers right there short stroll away, fairy lights creating ambience every night and our unforgettable evenings by the fire pit. We definitely recommend anyone to come and stay at this beautiful farm, be it a grounding and nature immersive experience of glamping, or the cabin stay! Our family are already planning our next trip to the Woods Farm! 100 out of 10!!

We had the privilege of getting married at The Woods this October, and I can't think of a more perfect venue. Wowsers what a beautiful place, stay in one if the cottages which were great, but also checked out the glamping tens which were awesome!
