Adelaide Garden Wedding Venues


The Adelaide Botanic Gardens, located in Adelaide’s city fringe parklands next to Adelaide Zoo, showcase three unique gardens. There are nine wedding ceremony sites in the gardens, and receptions are held at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens Restaurant.

Adelaide Pavilion, located in Veale Gardens, features a sunken rose garden, works of art, water features, and a number of walks. The venue boasts two function spaces with floor to ceiling panoramic windows. French and Mediterranean inspired cuisine is provided for receptions.

Built in 1849, Beaumont House is listed as a state heritage building. Both the house and its gardens are available for exclusive use on the weekends. The property features a dedicated marquee courtyard as well as The Drawing Room, an indoor space for wedding receptions.

Cork’s Cottage, built in 1875, has a garden that is highlighted by a waterfall, fountain, fantail doves, and dovecotes. Couples have a choice between two gazebos on different levels for the wedding ceremony.

Built in 1842, the heritage listed Cummins House includes an arched entrance porch and grand circular drawing room. Wedding ceremonies take place in the gardens and the drawing room. Receptions are held in the covered courtyard and in the gardens.

The Ed garden at Edinburgh Hotel features a lawn bordered by pergolas and greenery. Wedding receptions are held in the garden or in the Victorian Room, the Pavilion, the Private Dining Room, and the High Street Room which opens onto a verandah.

Large river red gum trees and a Mediterranean garden highlight the 60-acre Marybank Weddings. Vows are exchanged on the Wedding Lawn, and receptions are held in a circa 1842 barn that has an adjoining terrace with arbour that is covered with flowing Wisteria.

Weddings at Winzor hosts garden wedding ceremonies. A grand gazebo is situated on a lawn area that is surrounded by landscaped flowers and shrubs as well as trees. A garden path leads to a wishing well, a doved water fountain, and a horse dray cart.
