RealWeddings Guide
Set across more than 100 acres in Victoria's Macedon Ranges, Cleveland Estate pairs an historic 1880s Homestead with vineyards, rolling farmland, cottage gardens and a small lake, approximately 45 minutes north of Melbourne.
Couples can hold their ceremony, reception and entire wedding weekend within one private rural setting, with ceremony choices spanning the vineyard, an estate-view terrace, the lakeside and the Homestead's own gardens.
The Great Room, with its exposed beams and panoramic Macedon Ranges views, is the estate's principal reception space, hosting up to 140 seated or 200 cocktail-style guests, while the more intimate Carriage House offers a moodier, restaurant-style alternative.
In-house menus draw on seasonal regional produce, paired with Cleveland Estate's own wines.
Fifty onsite rooms, including six suites within the restored Homestead, allow couples to accommodate family and guests for a genuine wedding weekend, with full Estate Exclusivity available for private use of the entire property.
The Great Room seats up to 140 guests or hosts up to 200 for a cocktail-style celebration (approximately 120 seated / 180 cocktail with a dance floor). The Carriage House seats approximately 120 guests.
Yes. Ceremonies can be held in the vineyard, on the estate-view terrace, by the lake, or in the Homestead's cottage gardens, each with an indoor wet-weather alternative.
Cleveland Estate's official material confirms permanent indoor ceremony alternatives, so couples aren't relying on an external marquee.
Yes. Catering is in-house, with seasonal regional menus, Cleveland Estate wines, local beers and soft drinks, offered in plated, shared and cocktail formats.

For 2026, Great Room packages range from $175pp (eligible winter dates) to $215pp (Saturday), with Sunday–Thursday at $195pp and Friday at $205pp. Carriage House starts from $215pp. Full Estate Exclusivity ranges from $46,100 to $55,500 depending on the day.
Standard events run for five hours with a midnight finish; additional hours are available at approximately $25 per person.
Yes. Music and venue use conclude at midnight.
Standard wedding bookings may coexist with regular hotel operations, but a full Estate Exclusivity package provides private access to the entire property.
Food and beverage are in-house. External celebrants, florists, stylists, photographers and entertainment may be approved, subject to insurance and estate access rules.
The Carriage House is identified as accessible; some first-floor Homestead rooms require stairs.
