The Main Hall is breath-taking. With 70 foot soaring ceilings and original chandeliers, this room is perfect for larger weddings. With parquetry flooring, this room provides ample dancing space with the capability to seat a minimum of 300 and maximum of 650 guests.
Both Supper and Swanston Rooms, are classic 19th century spaces, perfect for receptions of up to 140 and 180 guests respectively.
The Portico Balcony is the ultimate location for strikingly beautiful wedding ceremonies. Perched over Swanston Street, the marble floor and ornate stonework combine to produce a remarkable space, from which guests view the Arts Centre Spire framed between Flinders Street Station and St Paul’s Cathedral.

The Council Chambers is also another unique space for a ceremony. Take a step back in time within the impressive chambers. Ornate ceilings, intricately carved wood paneling and light filled stain glass windows are sure to impress your guests. This space is used by the Melbourne City Council during the week and is available for ceremonies only on the weekend.
The Yarra Room. Provides a great option for either a ceremony or smaller receptions up to 80, whilst the Melbourne Room is perfect for intimate affairs with up to 30 guests.
