We had our wedding ceremony here in 2022. The place was beautiful and the staff were helpful and accommodating and went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly. Love this place!

This place will forever be meaningful as I was able to share, witness and celebrate a very close friend's special day saying 'I do.'

Great food atmosphere and attention to individual needs

I cannot praise and recommend Sophia at The Prahran Arcade and Atlantic Group staff highly enough. We recently had our wedding reception at Sophia and it was undoubtedly the best night of our lives. The food was absolutely impeccable (so often wedding food is so basic, this was anything BUT basic...still dreaming about the yellow fin tuna entree), and the service was brilliant. No one ever had an empty glass, the gimlets were flowing, and everyone was so kind, helpful, warm and welcoming. I specifically want to leave praise for our Events Manager Emma Jolly who made it impossible for me to feel stressed. She put me at complete ease responding to my 1 million emails, was so attentive and organised, and made our day so much more incredibly special. She even left a beautiful bottle of champagne for us to take at the end of the night. I could not recommend her more, she was a dream. I wish we could do it all over again :(

Just shared a wonderful Family Wedding at Sofia and all the staff are to be commended. The food, beverages, music and attention to detail were second to none! A special mention made to the fabulous Marco. Thank you so much to all concerned.

Superb venue and wonderful staff
We had our wedding ceremony and reception here a few months ago and it was a wonderful experience. The venue is stunning (obviously) but the staff were so helpful, understanding and responsive to our requests (thanks again Emma ). On the day we didnt have to worry about anything as the staff took complete control. We loved this place and highly recommend

We were so fortunate to have our wedding reception at Sophia at The Prahran Arcade. It is a stunning venue and the whole Atlantic Group team were wonderful to deal with. A special shout out to Cigdem, Emma and Kelsie who handled all our questions and stepped us through the details throughout the process! The food and drinks were amazing and capped off the best night of our lives!

We had our wedding reception at Sophia on the weekend and it was an incredible venue. Staff were attentive, food was delicious and everyone had a fabulous time. Our vendors also said it was super convenient to get to and accessing the venue was easy.
Bar was close to the dance floor so people were dancing all night. We would recommend Sophia for any event! Melanie was also very easy to work with and was responsive to any questions quickly.

We were so impressed by all aspects of this beautiful venue and the attention to detail by the staff (particularly Emma!). Thank you for being the wedding venue of our dreams.

The team at Sophia have been an absolute dream to work with! What a venue! I had the incredible opportunity to photograph a a wedding reception at Sophia at the Prahran Arcade and it did not disappoint. The high ceilings, historic feel - partnered with an amazing stylist and the venue really was majestic. I can't wait to be back!

A true highlight of the team being so flexible, accomodating and supportive throughout the planning process and on the event day. The food was exceptional and service so professional. What a hidden gem this place is.

From the little doorway on Chapel Street, you head upstairs and suddenly find yourself in the most beautiful space. A stunning ballroom, gorgeous balcony and elegant dining room. It really has that wow factor.

I recently had the pleasure of working here and Christina, Poppy and the team were fantastic. So supportive, incredibly helpful with gear, parking and all the little things that make a big difference on the day.

As a celebrant, I work at a lot of venues and this one is definitely a special find. Beautiful space, wonderful people and an absolute pleasure to work in.

We recently held our wedding reception at Sophia with The Atlantic Group. It was the most incredible day and the entire team including our Event Manager Chloe made the whole process seamless and stress free. We had an incredible experience having our Wedding at the Sophia at The Prahran Arcade! I planned the entire wedding while living overseas. I know planning this Wedding from so far away would have been a nightmare without the support and guidance from our Wedding coordinator Melanie who was provided to us by the Atlantic group. They were very accommodating and insightful on next steps and problem solving. Lastly, The venue itself is beautiful and they work well with Vendors. It was perfect, the vibes, the food, and that Staff are amazing!!!!

We had our winter wedding in June 2026 at Sophia and genuinely had the most perfect and magical day.

We worked with Christina in the lead-up and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I bombarded her with long essays with a million questions in the months leading up, and she was so incredibly patient and accommodating. The night was amazing, and we've been receiving nothing but positive feedback from our guests about how stunning it was, the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Sad that it's all over, but so happy with our choice and will be reliving the day forever.

Sophia is an incredible venue, unlike anything Ive seen before. The food was outstanding! All staff are helpful, kind, understanding, accomodating - with the highest level of professionalism in their job. Doing this journey with the staff from Sophia felt like having friends do tje wedding planning process with me, making it feel warm and worth the time spent on all the details, big and small. Would recommend to everyone and anyone! Regardless of the type of event
