Coastal Romance Meets Old-World Charm

RealWeddings Guide

Newly launched on the Mornington Peninsula, Sunnyside Events is a genuine winery wedding estate occupying a historic coastal property dating to 1867, approximately 50 minutes from Melbourne. A working vineyard runs through the grounds, offering couples the option to say their vows among the vines, on an elevated helipad overlooking Port Phillip Bay, or in the formal gardens, before guests move through the Mediterranean-style Piazza and Secret Garden into the Grand Hall for the reception.

The Grand Hall's soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the vineyard, creating a light-filled setting for up to 260 seated guests, while the estate's official capacity extends to 500 for a cocktail-style celebration. A permanent clear marquee in the Piazza provides genuine all-weather protection alongside the fully enclosed Grand Hall.

Food & Desire manages both venue and catering, offering plated, shared and canapé menus with a European coastal influence. With rows of vines, rose arbours, sunken gardens and sweeping bay views for photography, Sunnyside Events suits couples wanting a genuinely immersive vineyard wedding experience.
