Amazing wedding and event venue

I've attended a few functions here. Although it's set in a fairly ugly industrial factory area, like many reception venues, it's one of the few that has substantial gardens and landscaping with an elegant and impressive building. There is lots of onsite parking and actually 2 reception buildings. One out the back with its own entrance has gorgeous gardens and water features with indoor and outdoor areas.
The large 2 storey building at the front of the property has an impressive roofed entrance which opens to a large foyer with a double spiral staircase up to the upper level.
There are 2 reception rooms, a smaller one for maybe 200 or so people, and a larger ballroom that easily holds 500 or more people with a band and large dance floor. There is another staircase here winding down from the top floor.
Food is excellent and nicely plated and staff have always been welcoming and friendly.

Breathtaking venue with amazing staff and service! The support Maria and Lily showed us during our 6 postponements we wouldnt of been able to have our special day without them both! Great food that wont leave your guests hungry! Cannot thank them enough for everything! Highly recommend Sheldon receptions!

Absolutely love Sheldon. the venue is absolutely stunning the manager Maria was amazing and always helpful answering any of my questions and on the night of my wedding the staff was absolutely amazing and so friendly. on top of that the food was to die for. had so many great compliments from family and friends. My wife and I got married at the sheldon last month, it deffinetly was challenging making sure everything worked out the way we wanted. We had 570 guests and although there were many obstacles along the way both Lilly and Lidia came through in the end and gave us an amazing day to say in the least. From the food to service everything was amazing. Our guests arrived an hour earlier than expected, however the sheldon without bothering us on our day provided food and drinks in the foyer free of charge.

Also after the wedding Lidia found an envelope with $600 in it and immediately contacted us to pick it up which goes along way.

I highly recommend this reception.

We had a wedding last week and it was an absolutely fantastic venue. Rest room servicing could improve, however, especially on the days with a major event like a wedding as the bathrooms get really dirty.

Food was absolutely tasty and amazing. Staff were trying to be friendly. However, some of them seemed a bit stressed out,which is understandable on such a busy day.

Other than that,I would recommend this venue. It was secure, plenty of parking, and easily accessible.

Spacious with very elegant chandaria lights and unique self raising platform, which magically appears from the group.

Overall, we had a great experience, and I definitely recommend this venue.

A 1800 HUMMER wedding today just lovely people drppped off at a top notch reception centre in Sunshine setting the benchmark for Wedding Events always a pleasure to drive limos in and out of here, big spacious car parking spots front and rear, the portico keeps the weather off people its big allowing for multiple cars to pickup or dropoff simultaneously. Beautiful Wedding venue with very lovely and professional staff. Always love serving Bubble Tea here. Farhad is super thoughtful and offers us a table everytime we setup our Bubble Tea station. Always easy to organise scheduling and our setup. Definitely in the top 3 best venues in North west Melbourne.

The venue is amazing for party...looks amazing from entrance, the lobby and up to the main ballroom...fabulous!!!

Beautiful place

Arrival at the foyer, greeted by friendly staff and waiters handing out beverages and finger food. 30 minutes into a chat with friends , the staff accompanied you the your allocated table . The wedding night celebration was great, food was above the standard reception that Ive been at, good selection of drinks and staff never hesitate in bringing you something that you requested . If I needed a reception in the near future Sheldon reception would be the perfect choice.

I officiated a wedding at Sheldon Receptions today, and as always, it was absolutely beautiful, especially in the springtime!
The venue is surrounded by stunning white blossom trees that make the perfect backdrop for photos. The ceremony was held in the pavilion overlooking the ornamental lake and charming bridge, such a romantic setting. Sheldon is always a pleasure to return to , elegant, well-kept, and truly one of Melbournes hidden gems for weddings. Highly recommend!

We had our wedding at Sheldon Reception, and words cant express how perfect the day was. Farhard and his amazing team went above and beyond to create a night we will cherish forever. The decor was elegant, the hall was spacious and clean, and the staff was very supportive throughout the event. Food quality and taste were really good. Everything was well-organised and on time. One of the best reception centres for weddings, parties, and family functions. Highly recommended

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Farhad @ Sheldon Reception for being so meticulous about every tiny detail at my son Khizars Reception on the 27/3/26. I highly recommend Sheldon Reception and in particular Farhad if you are looking for an outstanding and awesome event then do consider this option because all the venues we saw were amazing and offering more or less the same perks but we opted to go with Sheldon Reception because Farhad had given a very good sales pitch and he delivered what had been promised so I give Farhad and his team a 5 star rating. Thank you for making my sons event so special and unique.
