Pendant Media

Booking is flexible and enquiries are taken any time, though earlier is better for popular dates. Pendant Media works every day of the week, with lower demand (and a discount) over winter. It covers elopements and multi-day weddings, but not destination weddings.

Standard packages offer 6, 8, or 10 hours of coverage, with hourly coverage available for elopements and smaller events at $150/hour. Additional hours (including overtime) are also $150/hour.

Travel is calculated per km (including the return trip) for weddings over 50km. Accommodation is charged separately for venues 3+ hours from Melbourne, or where a late finish makes the drive home unsafe.

A 20% deposit is due 1 month after the invoice date, with the remaining 80% due before the final week leading up to the wedding.

Payment timing is flexible, usually allowing a week or two's delay if needed.

Venues include Tatra Receptions, Zonzo Estate, Yarra Ranges Estate, Leonda By The Yarra, Marnong Estate and Quat Quatta, along with others across greater Melbourne and the Yarra Valley.

An initial Zoom consultation (more on request) plus unlimited email and phone support. Pendant Media works with the photographer on the timeline, gives venue advice where it has filmed before, and liaises with other suppliers and the MC to keep the day on schedule if things run behind.

The booking fee is non-refundable. Cancelling more than 7 days out forfeits the booking fee only; within 7 days, all fees paid are forfeited. Rescheduling is free, subject to availability on the new date. If something outside Pendant Media's control prevents filming, reasonable efforts are made to provide equivalent services, with liability limited to fees paid (excluding the deposit).

Footage is backed up to SSD and two external hard drives the night of the wedding, with SD cards untouched until the next shoot, so it's stored in four places. Raw footage is kept for at least 6 months after delivery. Pendant Media retains copyright, with couples licensed for personal use and sharing (commercial use requires separate permission).

A lapel mic on the groom, a lapel mic on the celebrant, and a direct PA feed, with backup audio always recorded. The same approach — two wireless mics plus a direct feed — ensures clear vow and speech audio throughout the reception.

Generally slow, emotional and cinematic for the ceremony, building to upbeat for the reception, tailored to the couple. Music comes from three licensed libraries; couples can guide style and tempo, but only licensable tracks are used.

It depends on the package. Every package includes the full ceremony, the speeches and a wedding film of 3–5, 7–8 or 10 minutes.

Most packages also include a first dance video. The Deluxe package includes a 1-minute social media reel delivered the day after the wedding.

Everything is delivered by digital download in 4K, and full raw footage is a $400 add-on.

Yes, drone video is included in the deluxe package, or available as a $100 add-on on other packages — fully CASA licensed.
