What a place to visit...

I have stayed at tons of high-end luxury resorts, and Mandapa tops them all. They thought of every single detail to make your stay memorable. I had planned to propose to my partner, and they were so accommodating and made the whole experience flawless. Our butler Marka went above and beyond, and always had a smile on his face. He made us feel at home and ensured that our stay was nothing less than perfect. No request was too much for him to handle. This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at.

Few points for improvements:

1- the lighting in the room is bit low, wish it was brighter.

2- while there are 3 restaurants + pool cafe, few more international/westerns dishes will be nice.

The Ritz Mandapa was above and beyond and resort experience - from the property to the staff to the food and overall experience. I could not have imagined a better place to spend our honeymoon! The staff were SO welcoming, accommodating, caring and thoughtful - they look the time to get to know us and genuinely care for us - making our time there feel so special. Kewin is the absolute best and a gem of a human. All the staff at breakfast and each meal we spent there remembered our names and the dishes / drinks were enjoyed, and made a point to specialize things for us! The property was beautiful and amazing amenities/villas. We didnt want to leave and cant wait to come back!!!

We know its a solid hotel when before we even left we are planning our next one. Be prepared to be spoilt beyond words. Service is top notch food is amazing room is great. You wont feel shortchanged paying the rates and we are thinking of making this a yearly stay at least.

Among the best hotel experiences of my life. Niti was an incredible guest captain, we loved yoga with Eri, and the room (and view!) was stunning. Thoughtful touches like a cake for our honeymoon and being greeted by name by everyone made our stay even more special. We hope to return one day soon!

Ubud is always the best

We came here in September 2022 for a couples fire blessing ceremony for our 1st anniversary. The experience was absolutely divine. All throughout the booking process via email, the service has been exceptional. Eddy and Tami were very courteous. The services and amenities at the Mandapa Spa were to a 5* standard. All towels, changing rooms were amazing. The view of the surroundings were breathtaking. The ceremony was incredibly spiritual, tranquil and peaceful. There was devoted connection to all the ritual processes. Everything was translated and explained to us. We still have our bottle of blessed water and rose petals. It is an incredible experience, to connect to the Hindu Balinese traditions.

We also had lunch at the bar/restaurant area with lovely, refreshing fresh juices and light bites. Service and food again was lovely.

An incredible experience, that I would recommend to all couples looking to take the next spiritual step and combine it with the beauty of Balinese culture and traditions.

Our stay at Mandapa was absolutely exceptional. From the grounds, to the rooms, to the staff, everything was top-notch. Our butler Justine was amazing as well as our tour guides Dina and Gus De. Justine even gave us her WhatsApp and would always promptly respond. The tours themselves were amazing not just because of the great activities but because the guides were knowledgeable and fun. The staff is what makes Mandapa so exceptional in my opinion. The level of service is unmatched but not too in-your-face like some other luxury places. If you are in Bali, Mandapa is a must.

The service is definitely super friendly. If asked for help, immediately provide assistance.
For food, nothing bad. It's all really delicious. So make me want to keep adding.
The hotel facilities are special. Both the ones in the rooms are super comfortable. As well as general facilities.

There are so many amazed we stayed in this hotel. Starting from the smallest thing to the biggest: the swimming pool and dining room are amazing, the staff is friendly, the communication is fast when I need it before check-in, and all kinds of food, there are lots of choices and the taste is really delicious. Its hard to put into words how amazing our honeymoon stay was at Mandapa. It was a true luxury experience that immersed you into the traditional culture and lifestyle of Ubud. My wife and I stayed there for the second leg of our honeymoon and honestly wished we couldve of stayed longer because it was a dream experience. The beauty of the resort, A plus staff and service, and experiences offered put Mandapa in a class of its own. The staff is so intimate they remember specific likes and dislikes of those in your party and cater to them during your stay. Mandapa offers tours/experiences on and off property and I highly recommend pursuing any of them. We did the Bali through the lense tour, the VW tour, and the enchanted love journey experience. All were fantastic and really allowed us to enjoy the lifestyle of Bali. If we ever go back to Bali, it will be here at Mandapa.

We had our best stay so far and we would love to visit again. This resort offers you everything together, but disconnect to reconnect program makes the real difference. We loved every minute of our stay starting from all the hospitality to food and massage. The only thing they can improve is the kids club. They have an excellent setup, but they barely have activities that the kids have fun. Our 7 year old daughter loves kids clubs and spending time there, but she got really bored in here, so we couldnt attend all the sessions we wanted. This was a little dealbreaker for us :) you can see other resorts offer activities like kite making, pot painting, or other local activities, but there was nothing here apart from just playing around.

This is truly the best hotel Ive ever been to. The views of Ubud are gorgeous and so is the property. What stood out to me, though, was the exceptional service. You get your own private butler on call to you via Whatsapp and they take such good care of you. The hotel has an exclusive feel since the property is so huge but there are few rooms. The dining was excellentthe Japanese place had the best sushi and the breakfast buffet was amazing and accommodating to us vegetarians. The morning yoga was so beautiful and the whole mindset/lifestyle is perfect. Highly recommend this beautiful, serene getaway!!!

Went there for our honeymoon in October - the entire experience from start to finish was just out of this world. I don't think we'll ever stay in a hotel quite like Mandapa. We had Nity as our butler - she is amazing. So attentive, helpful, super friendly and gave us a leaving gift for our stay. All the staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating to your needs, whether it's in the hotel or taking a day trip out to bali. It's just all the small touches (and there was a lot) that just blew us away. The room, the STUNNING views, the fact you can raft down the river and get picked up at the hotel (and watch it from the pool), the restaurants/food and group activities made it the perfect stay for a luxury week away. Expensive yes, but worth all the money for an unforgettable holiday. We'd love to go back one day.

I don't usually write reviews, but after my stay at this property I feel compelled to. I redeemed one of my Marriott Free Night certificates and was certainly not expecting much. Boy, was I to be surprised. The entire experience was thoroughly enjoyable from check-in to check-out and I felt like an extremely valued guest. I can see why the Ritz Carlton Reserve properties and this one in particular continue to be held in extremely high regard. I will definitely try to come back with family. Special mention to front office manager Ade and my Patih (butler) Dheya. For those whose names I did not manage to remember, I thank you from the bottom of my heart too. I understand cash prices are on the high side, but for those who can afford it, I would say you get what you pay for.

PS: Food at Kubu was delicious too. Kiwami Wagyu reminded me of actual Kobe Beef!

From the arrival to the departure. From sunrise to dawn, the energy of the entire Mandapa family can be felt and they are all very authentic and extremely passionate on spoiling their guests.

Shot-out to our butler, Riadi, for the amazing hospitality. It is very rare to find a butler that makes you feel like home while going above and beyond to ensure you have an unforgettable experience. He made our stay more enjoyable and memorable. Our favorite butler to date!!!!!!!!

We are fortunate enough to have stayed at some really nice hotels but the service you receive in Mandapa is hands down the best service. Yes the hotel and the reserve that it sits on are spectacular but anyone can build a fancy hotel. The service is what makes this hotel stand out from the other. We were only going to stay two nights but extended it to four nights. When you check in you get assigned a Patih to help with your every need. Ours were amazing. Ibu Kewin and Ibu Thania. They were there for our every need no matter how small. They scheduled activities in the hotel (cooking class and rice planting class), dinner reservations, spa reservations, and even excursions to nearby temples. Ibu Kewin and Ibu Thania really took the experiece of Mandapa to another level.

A great High end boutique resort in Ubud. Firstly arriving at the lobby a friendly and warm hospitality staff welcomed. The suite and the villa are gorgeous simple calm designs make your feeling be relaxed. Public facilities are superb moreover experience during taken meals at river side restaurant. And also the spa is fantastic at the river side. If you are looking for a high end resort in Ubud this could be best choice. Just 10 minute drive to Ubud town and easy way to explore of Ubud village

Saying she was amazing would be an understatement. Justine made our trip very special and enhanced our stay by making it memorable. She anticipated our needs/desires, was responsive and always available. Justine went way above and beyond, she set the bar so high, her level of service would be very hard to duplicate. As we travelled onward to other destinations (new zealand, bora bora), we had a higher expectation that was never duplicated. Thank you Justine, you made such an everlasting impression we are already planning our trip back and will skip the St. Regis in Nusa Dua just to have the pleasure of getting to experience your excellent service again.

But, I also want to add the entire staff on the property was welcoming, professional, patient, and all around excellent. Everyone knew our names, even people we probably saw just once, we were constantly greeted with a warm smile. This hotel put us in a completely relaxing space, mentally and physically. This was our second time in Bali, we stayed in Nusa Dua the first time. Ubud is a good distance from the airport but totally worth it. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to take you into downtown ubud where there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. UBUD is quite busy downtown but overall offers a quiet, restful environment. This hotel has everything you need. 5 stars hands down!

The service is exceptional,attentive truly experience of Balinese hospitality. From our butler to any server in any restaurant, any person we come across In the hotel knows our name. The excursion arranged by hotel is one of a kind and safe and personal. We have build so many memories on our excursion as a family.
