Samantha O’Brien and Neil Atkinson said “I do” standing barefoot and in love on their favourite Margaret River beach. Both keen surfers, the pair adore “anything to do with the ocean”, and their romantic vision of a relaxed ceremony on the sand unfolded beneath a brilliant blue sky.

The bride had her heart set on an all-white theme, and the exquisite bridesmaids’ dresses designed by her Paris-based sister complemented her own delicate couture French lace gown, with its gorgeous plunging back.

Neil and his groomsmen radiated coastal cool in crisp cotton shirts and chinos, and the wedding party sipped lemonade in the sunshine against the stunning ocean backdrop before joining family and friends for cocktails on the reception deck just metres away. 

“We loved not having to leave the venue for photographs and so did our guests; it made for a very relaxing day,” Samantha said.
